This fight could be a "snoozefest" for the casual fan but I wouldn't mind watching one of my boys taking on Martinez.

Its funny this popped up cause we were just talking about it. As for the guy saying at 160 Lara would be hurt, stop it. I didn't see Williams, who dropped Martinez, hurting Lara the night they fought. I know the fight was at 154 but on fight night the weight/size difference was huge and he's (Williams) bigger than Martinez.

Like I've said numerous times, Sergio is in no position to talk about being avoided. He can easily fight Golovkin or Lara at 160, or Ward and Bute at reasonable CW's.

No one can seriously sit here and tell me that Andy Lee and Daniel Geale, though pretty good fights, are better fights than one against Erislandy Lara.

If you're referring to me... In case you didn't see my sig Im a Lara fan before Martinez and I'm Cuban as well so I don't need to make any excuse for "ducking" Lara. I am by no means a Martinez fanboy. I said it like it is and the fight would be boring for the casual fan who watches boxing just for the action.

I like the fight, but it doesn't matter what I think. It matters what the casuals think and all they like is action packed slug fests. And it also matters what HBO thinks, an they also prefer action packed slug fests whenever possible.
