Last I heard him mention Pac he was saying he knows Pac wont fight him because he is too small and Mayweather would fight him at 154 because he fights the best.

Difference between Martinez fighting Pac and Ward fighting Martinez is the weight class it happens at.

Sergio would have to fight Ward at the super middleweight limit a weight he has never fought at
He would fight Pacquiao at 154 or less and Pacquaio claimed to be champion at 154 with that points win over Marg.

Pac vs Sergio should a logicial fight if Pac genuinley believed he was light middleweight champ.
Ward vs Martinez is not a fair fight.

Agreed. Even a Mayweather Martinez fight at 154 is even more logical at 154, since Floyd will be fighting at that weight on May 5. Seems likes theres too many haters on Martinez on this thread. They're probably both Mayweather and Pac lovers who don't want to see the Argentian whoop their idols ass. Serg weighed 157.5 this past sat so its only reasonable he fights Mayweather at 154. Lot of people here expecting Serg to jump up 12.5 pounds to fight Ward or Bute when he could lose 3.5 pounds for a Mayweather fight. Lmfao. Child Please!!!! Now if
Ward or Bute was willing to drain themselves and come down to 160 then thats a different story. Serg himself is willing to drain himself to get Pac and Floyd to as low as 150, so why not Ward or Bute at 160?

What the heck??? Why so scared to move up 1 division above???

Sergio is obviously not up to the challenge...

I think Martinez is good... but he's not great!

The only reason Sergio is winning is because of lack in competition in his division!

Good champions now a day's can easily be a 2 division champions... But Sergio only got one~~~

Martinez vs Ward/Bute can be made at 165 lb if they're serious about fighting!

Maybe Ward/Bute could fight Martinez at a catchewight of 164-165 otherwise they won't fight Martinez isn't going to move up to 168

Hahaha Paul Williams was 162 and Martinez 176 at the weight in, Martinez must have been 190 or something like that, for only making 176 at that time.

And he's 170 at fight night, and who knows how much he was versus Macklin.

I hate the hypocrisy of DiBella, wanting Pacquiao and Mayweather, but not Ward.

And they only fight bigger fighters, when they dont have boxing skill, like Pavlik, Williams or Chavez.

But when they are asked to fight bigger fighters that know how to box like Ward or Bute, then no... that's not fair lol!
