to me it seems really foul that all the boxing talking heads are quick to say which dangerous fighter floyd should fight next. and in the same breath call pac an ATG even though he fought just about all his fights with a nod in his favour. with catch wts ect, ect. he refused to fight shane even when shan was willing to drop down to 142. he ran in terror from yuri forman. only to turn around and fight a man for a title that neither earned the right to fight for. all the pac fans say how pac is too small to fight maravilla. but rave how he won sergios belt. even harold and larry praise pac and forgive him for ducking sergio. but then say how floyd must fight sergio for his legacy. talk about a double standard. floyd has said he is willing to face sergio. in a very good fight i have floyd by UD. sergio is a fav of mine but unless floyd gets old over night, his defense and accurate punching should carry him to victory.

If floyd smiled and played the same fake role as SRL, ODH, and Manny, they would be held to the same standard. I like when they are held to the same standard because those are the arae occassions when pac's diehard fans really look pathetic.

Sergio still won by KO looking sensational or not. He has KO power, speed, movement and skill. Floyd fought Oscar really cautious at 154. I don't see Floyd being strong enough to stop Martinez and Martinez is going to fight back. Just because he had problems with Barker and Macklin don't make him any less of a fighter because it's possible that Barker and Macklin are good fighters as well to some degree but Sergio was just better. That's the thing with boxing today. If a name fighter has trouble with a no name fighter, then all of a sudden the name fighter ain't that good because he had to fight to win. Martinez is producing KD's and KO's in every fight and that says a lot. Do I think Floyd can win? Sure but I also can see Martinez winning as well. People on here know that I am a fan of Mayweather skill set and haven't seen anyway that I could say would give him a problem or beat him until Martinez. You have your opinion and I have mine but fight to me is 50/50.

Floyd is not the same fighter today that fought Oscar in 2007. Hes much more physical, hes stronger (torso), and hes got a meanness about him in the ring. He has really filled into a WW body.
Also, I think a cut to 154 is going to be a factor, especially with this fight happening a year from now. Sergio hasnt fought at 154 since early 2009. Even though Serg is an undersized MW I dont think its good for him at his age to be jumping in and out of weight classes. Same goes for Floyd. I would rather Floyd stay in 154lb division rather than bouncing from WW to JMW.

I get sick of Martinez talkin down to fighters at 147 and 154 but cowers and makes excuses why he cant fight someone at 168. I guess i should make it easy for you WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FLOYD AND SERGIO? i'm a floyd fan aswell as a boxing fan but come on man. the fight in't gonna happen and we can get on with this floyd and manny garbage when one of them retires. I would love to see floyd fight sergio, but we all know if it ever happens, in will be in vegas cause floyd got 2 juice up his paws

It doesnt too much matter for Floyd because he's gonna weight 148-150 on fight night in WW or JMW. When He fought De La Hoya he said he Weighed 148 but they marked 150. And when He fights Cotto he probably weigh about 150 but no more. Sergio is always talkin down. I say go fight Andre Ward at 164. I bet he dont want non of that!

First mang , he was KO'd as a teenager in his early boxing career in devastating fashion, starving to death but he came back, thats heart !

He faced champions in 7 divisions and beat them.

He fought the great Morales and lost but came back to defeat him twice.
