I know, and if he comes in at 64 like Ortiz, he will be WAAY bigger...Martinez is already built like A God anyway

Outside of Manny and Floyd what fight could sell as well as Matinez/Mayweather? Maybe I'm too much of a fan but I think this fight would be easy to sell. There's so much to contrast for fans. Floyd born into the sport/ Martinez not starting til 20. Mayweather beating women/ Martinez championing to stop the abuse. Mayweather's personality/ Martinez personality. Also call me crazy but if Mayweather took this fight I think when people would look back in 20 years they'll say Manny ducked Floyd cause look at what Mayweather went and did. Win lose or draw its a good fight for both men, the fans, and the sport.

D@z Y harold gets paid to 'judge' fights instead of 'making' them.
Floyd's legacy is already secured - did y'all 4get w@ Pretty Boy did to Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo 2x & de la Hoya?? Any additional fights will only add to his resume.
Plus, Y would Money fight someone who only real boxing fans know about, and just barely packed the lil rink-a-dink Theater @ MSG on HBO, when Mayweather can pack the MGM Grand wit 3-4 times as many people and do millions on pay-per-view?
Martinez is in my top 5 current P4P, but it don't make business dollars& cents, so it'll never happen. Everytime a boxer competes in the ring, they are rusking their life... so Y fight someone with so much risk and so lil reward at stake?

Lederman is an idiot. No welterweight should fight Martinez. MArtinez should look for 154lb and 160lb fighters.

Lederman must be on huge amount of ounces of 40's with this conclusion. If this fight should happen it should be at 154, max. Asking Floyd to move up to 160 is idiotic.

Proksa just got a similiar cut last night and will be out of action for 5-6 months. Just about the same as Pacquiao, who is not allowed to spar until April.
Arum pondered over having Pacquiao/Marquez 4 on May 5th. Once Mayweather reserved the date and called out Pacquiao, Arum said "the date has no special importance, Manny has a cut"

Now, let me be clear. I believe both sides are legitimately ducking each other for their own reasons, but Arum was called out publically by ESPN's Dan Rafael on "The Cut" not being a legitimate reason to dodge the fight.

                even if Floyd fights him
some people will find a way to discredit the fight .. as usual

Figuring Sergio cannot make 160 in any of his middleweight fights, 154 is ideal for this fight. In fact, Sergio stated recently that he plans to move back DOWN to 154 as the weight is a more natural weight for him. The only reason he moved UP to 160 was because of the lack of opponents willing to face him at 154. Keep in mind, he was originally a welterweight and you can see that his build doesn't exactly suit 160

Why isn't Martinez calling out champs in his own division? Look at his size. He's a Middleweight champ and he's Knocking Out Middleweights. I don't think there's a welterweight that can Knock Out Martinez so he has all the power advantage. If he lands once then it's bye bye to any WW.

Floyd would outbox Martinez but get KO'd with one punch. Mayweather is a Welterweight and will fight Cotto at 154. Cotto is not as big as Martinez.

Why can't he call out Chad Dawson(2 divisions above) or even Andre Ward(1 division above).

Manny ducked Cotto without a CW and Floyd is fighting him , that doesnt bother him or his fans , he beat him with a CW before why not drain him again or better still fight a JWW and you get a pass on the duck .

Manny ducked the Mosley that Floyd fought that dont bother him or his fans , Manny wanted no part of Mosley while he looked good , Manny wanted 144 when Mosley said ok it went to 142 and then when he said ok it was your too good of a fighter Shane WTF , then Mosley loses to Floyd looks shot ahgainst Mora now herp Manny says lets go I will KO Mosley , lol .

Ducking doesnt bother Manny , he ducked Foreman saying was too big and then fought Margo at 150 drained who is the same size at Foreman .

Manny will not fight Sergio as long as his ass points to the ground but Floyd might .
