    I agree 100% with this.

Morales was my 1B favourite fighter at that point and with the little he had left in the tank he still gave Pac all he could handle in the 2nd fight.

The 3rd fight was just a disgrace to be honest. Disgraceful fight.

Haven't watched since the day it happened and I never will.

That's what a race does when its desperate for attention. Just like when every Filipino that could afford a phone called in to vote for that one Filipino chick on American Idol despite her being the worst singer there... Its honestly pathetic

At the time, Pac was just a blown up featherweight #1 p4p fighter that could gain a pay check and some notoriety off De La Hoya, while Oscar keeps himself active... In hindsight, u look back and see Pac's talent, u think of him as a worthy opponent for a Prime De La Hoya, then all of a sudden its a cherry pick that back-fired????

You mean kinda like how the third Marquez fight was a cherry-pick that back-fired
You know, I'm Hispanic like Oscar right?

Anyways, you're on Oscar fan? You must be a female or you bat for the other team. No straight man is a fan of his.

And, to the bold...Yes kind of like that. Matter of fact you should be upset that third fight since it was a pretty bad decision. That was a terrible night, however Dec 6 2008 was the one of the greatest night in boxing history. Not only did Oscar duck Margarito to cherry pick a LW who just had one fight in that weight-class mind you. At least JMM had pretty long run at LW, and tested the waters at WW even though he did horrible. Pacquiao didn't even that privelage. You're not a true boxing fan if you rooted for Oscar that night. Ask any true boxing fan and they will tell you that they were rooting for Pac. Being Filipino you don't have to root for Pac. But, that night being a true boxing fan and Filipino should have been automatic on who you should have been rooting. There was Pinoy's signing petitions trying to stop that fight from happening. Because, they feared for Pacquiao life. You could root for Pac in any fight. But, that one? C'mon how could have rooted for Oscar?

You ma'am disgust me. Matter of fact I'm about to sit back and watch this fight again right now. Because, it's one of the greatest night in boxing history if not the greatest night in boxing history.

I think it would probably be the Hamed fight. I was a typical casual fan that never kept up to date with much except when Sky told me about a boxing and as a big Hamed fan at the time I was convinced it didn't get much better then the Prince.

When I went to bed that night I learned of my naivety and of Hameds naivety in underestimating Barrera. I don't think I've ever rewatched that fight
