Not if he has him come down to 168.....

Ward has already shown me that he is scared of 175. I guarantee the only people he fights at 175 (if he goes there) are dudes he beat at 168 who moved up. His style is to crowd and muscle his opponent.....that ain't happening with top level LHW so I'm sure he's gonna Calzaghe out and stay a SMW. It would be easy for him to do because he doesn't cut as much weight to make 168 as other fighters do.

Scaling divisions is overrated unless you've already cleaned out your own division and left no stone unturned.

I think so, but he'd effectively have to silence the weight class

Ward wouldn't have much power at LHW, would he have the chin? questionable, I remember him talking about how much one of Abraham's shots had hurt him.

He has shown no inclination towards moving up, he wouldn't even give Dawson 2lbs.

There are a lot more fights at 168lbs for Ward.

What does he have to do to be great? keep fighting and beating the best in the division - the more wins away from home the better.
