Martinez is 5'9; Margarito is 5'10. Why can't Pac fight Sergio?

Neither guy would have a problem making weight. But, I think one guy will have pretty huge size advantage by fight time. So much so, that I can't see Pac winning.

I think Floyd beats him though. I agree with that.
I imagine he'll be stronger at 160 than he would at 154. Not sure though.

I think he could make 154 and still be effective, just not as effective at 160.

I think he'll have the advantage but Pac could still win. We've seen fighters overcome bigger advantages than that before and maybe it will happen again one day. Perhaps not considering how reluctant people seem to be. It's a different mentality these days, it seems.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I think it's a winnable fight for Pac. Sure, it's a risk an a fight he could easily lose but so what? Risks are what make you great.

Like I said I agree he doesn't need it and I won't hold it against him if he doesn't take it but it's a fight that can happen and should happen if he really wnated to enhance his legacy even further to be compared to Top 25 ATG's and so forth.

No that is not so. Pacquiao never expressed a wish to fight Foreman. Arum, when asked what was next for Pacquiao remarked on possibilities of several fighters amongst whom was Foreman. That was all.

Pac never expresses a wish to fight anyone. Arum mentioned it and Roach said he was too tall and then went on to fight Margarito who is the same height. I guess the one difference was Margs came down to 150 and im not sure if Foreman was willing to do the same.

Sergio is shorter than Margarito, who Pac had no problem fighting. Pac is walking around at 154. Forget what Team Pac said about 150 lbs, he can make 154.

All he has to do is have Ariza make those special shakes.
Why doesn't Floyd fight Martinez as well? Don't give me this future he "might" bullshit. You put the standard for one, you do it to the other as well biased fanatic.

Because Martinez has good footwork, punching speed, and punching power to give Manny a cauliflower ear...again.
