Past: Hearns, Holmes. Both classic textbook straight right hands.

Am I the only one finding it insulting that TS mentions Floyds as the best right today? It's ridiculous.

Hearns' right hand that floored Cuevas came first to mind as soon as I saw the title.

It's gotta be Hearns; first name I thought of, and everyone else seems to concur.

Throwing a different name out there, Cuban Olympic legend Teofilo Stevenson had a lightning-bolt straight right. He would literally put large men to sleep with it. Cubans had a nickname for him: "The Mule Kick."

            Active I'd say Mayweather.

Of all time? Really hard ask.

There's plenty, some great choices so far in this thread.

            Hearns, Louis, Holmes great candidates.

            McClellan another great underrated choice.

I'll throw Harold Johnson in there. Real underrated straight right hand.

Alexis Arguello may be up there with the very best.

Yes I said best straight right in the game today. If you disagree state your reasons please. I certainly wouldn't want to cause you anguish with my opinion.

                      Edit: Misread your post.

Thought you said he has the best straight right.

Fair comment seeming you meant his straight left although I'd disagree.
