Also it pretty weak that he couldn't fight so and so because they were Top Rank or Haymon fighters. Pretty lame excuse.
He was suing Bob Arum ....how do you sue a guy cause he owes you PPV money but you still negotiate PPVs with him?

Also I don't know why Al Haymon fighters have never fought. I can't think of 2 Haymon fighters that have ever fought.

Thats not a lame excuse. Haymon is a smart business man.

there is always an excuse as to why fights don't get made. Not just mayweather fights...its the culture of boxing.

in that same 'culture', boxers who WANT fights to happen, MAKE them happen

i'm well aware of the entire circumstances around Floyd as i was one of the biggest Floyd fans before

then one day, while defending Floyd on why he didnt fight so and so, i just felt really ******

there i was with a laundry list of fighters that Floyd didn't fight and the reasons/excuses why it didn't happen

all those non-fights i was justifying were all fight that i WANTED to see

fighters can make fights happen...or not

Floyd's list is a lil too long and his ***g0t ass fans rambling on like its all good makes this fight fan kinda sick

I agree with all you said & I wanted to see those fights but the reality was that Mayweather was suing Arum in 2008 and the Cotto & Margarito fights werent going to happen. Those aren't excuses, those are facts. Arum didn't want to make the Cotto fight when he promoted both. He never mentioned Mayweather & Margaritos name in the same sentence until Mayweather left him.

He retired because his hands and back were injured. He wanted to take time off but he knew he'd be back. DUHHHHHH.

              Everybody already knows this.

"Floyd won't fight me because I don't have a vagina. If Floyd went to Al and said, Hey, I want to fight Paul Williams, what can Al do? But Floyd is not going to ever say that"...Paul Williams

Paul Williams, in his 11th year in the professional boxing ring, is widely acknowledged as the world's third best fighter, pound for pound.

if a fellow AL Haymon fighter would say that about Floyd, excuses about how Floyd wasn't able to fight this or that fighter goes out of the window.

This is coming from Paul. Do we know if he actually asked to fight Mayweather outside of the media? 2 months after Mayweather retired in 2008 Paul got clowned by Quintana. A few months later he avenged that loss then immediately moved up to 154lbs.

yes he did what he wanted. unfortunately what he wanted doesnt place him in the upper echelons of the atg list, which he always preach that he is. laughable.
