    Marquez - Juan Díaz

Marquez-Diaz went from being on an HBO free card to having the rematch on PPV after Marquez fought Floyd and got famous from the Floyd fight.

lol! then why the 2 fights of Marquez after floyd fight not even on PPV??? and the reason why rematch of Marquez-Diaz is in PPV is because their first fight was WAR not because MArquez fought Floyd!

Floyd and Manny are bigger draws than ever Oscar, I find it funny that people don't realize this.

            Floyd-Oscar: 2.45 million
            Floyd-Mosley: 1.4 million
            Floyd-Ortiz: 1.25 million
            Floyd-Marquez: 1.1 million
            Floyd-Hatton: 915K

            Pac-Marquez III: 1.4 million
            Pac-Mosley: 1.3 million
            Pac-Cotto: 1.25 million
            Pac-Oscar: 1.25 million
            Pac-Margarito: 1.15 million
            Pac-Hatton: 850K
            Pac-Clottey: 700K

            Oscar-Floyd: 2.4 million
            Oscar-Trinidad: 1.4 million
            Oscar-Pac: 1.25 million
            Oscar-Hopkins: 1 million
            Oscar-Mosley: 950K
            Oscar-Vargas: 935K
            Oscar-Mayorga: 925K
            Oscar-Whitaker: 720K

Mayweather and Pacquiao both out sold Oscar against Mosley, and there other opponents have done more than Oscar's other opponents for the most part. Mayweather has also out sold Pac with Mosley, Hatton, and De La Hoya. But, Pac out sold him with Marquez the 3rd time. The fact that Floyd sold 1.25 million PPV's with Victor Ortiz, a good fighter but not a PPV draw by any stretch, is pretty damn impressive. That's as many PPV's as Pac sold with Miguel Cotto and Oscar De La Hoya, and more than he sold with Antonio Margarito.

It should be noted that when Floyd fought Marquez, he'd never even come close to getting anywhere near 1 million PPV's in a fight before. So, I think Floyd-JMM selling 1.1 million PPV's at that time was pretty impressive.

ODLH pay per views were in an era that they were a lot of illegal cable boxes. He, Tyson and Holyfield figures could had been much higher.

Tyson and ODLH were more famous for a longer period of time than Pac or Floyd has been
