Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is confident former two division world champion Juan Manuel Lopez (31-2, 28KOs) has a lot left in the gas tank. Last Saturday night in San Juan, WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido stopped Lopez in the tenth round of action. It was the second TKO loss for Lopez in his last three fights. Arum could see Lopez matched up with likes of IBF champion Billy Dib (34-1, 21KOs) or a big all-Puerto Rico battle with Wilfredo vazquez Jr. (21-2-1, 18KOs).

No one wants to see him get stopped a third time by Salido. I wouldn't mind a Juanma-WV2 fight though. I always felt that Gamboa would have sparked Juanma, but man I still wanted to see it.

I say forget those 2 fights, just move up and start over!! Fight 3 or 4 times against top solid journeymans or semi contenders while you get use to change your style!! Then go for a title!!

He needs a new corner, new attitude and new style along with a new weight class!!

It's not easy to develop a new style, very few boxers in the history of the sport have been able to pull it off this late in a career.

I think Salido is just a bad match up against Juanma, he comes forward, is great at inside fighting and takes a great shot.

Juanma will do better against boxers, guys who are willing to stay at the end of his shots and box with him. That's why I think that a fight with Gamboa would be more competitive than people think. I still want to see that fight to be honest with you.

Juanma wants to brawl too much, it's in his nature to do that and I don't think he can avoid it.

On some real talk, they aren't letting WV2 get a chance to grow, breathe and learn. This guy keeps getting put to the wringer to hype up his opponent. I'd like to see the kid get a couple of smaller, technique building fights and have him rematch Nonito

I can see Donaire getting rushed up in division. Him versus Juanma is very due course!
