    Hatton didn't Impress

Wow, now I have to wonder if Hatton's fight vs. Tszyu was a one fight wonder. He was throwing wild punches, one punch at a time, and no combinations. I compare it with Cotto's performance and it wasn't even close, Cotto's combinations where much quicker and he didn't get hit half as much as Hatton.

Cotto would KO Hatton if he fights like that, a poor performance. He better not come close to Mayweather, he'll recieve a beating. he dissapointed me with his performance.

Since Cotto is a very different fighter id say Hatton wouldnt fight like that.

But he would start a war. It would be interesting if they just started trading.

Maussa is an awkward opponent for anyone. Cotto only stopped him on a cut, whilst Ricky knocked him the **** out.

Compare Ricky's methodical performance with Cotto's lacklustre recent outings and you can see that Ricky holds all the aces. Cotto may hit harder, but he has a weaker chin.

What impresses you about Cotto? Is it his glass chin?

How many Hatton fights have you seen???

Did you see the stats, i.e. punches thrown to landed ratio, they were superb?

Hatton would destroy Cotto, no doubt in my mind!

1st...who's that ****** in the army camouflage that went outta style in the 90's? lolz...oh yea aint he part of that "raggeaton" fad? Isn't it played out yet? It's getting pretty annoying over here in los angeles.

2nd...Hatton and Cotto would be a tight even fight and would depend on how dirty the ref let both fighters get...gay weather doesn't want to risk anything against Cotto or Hatton b/c them 2 jiggas are warriors...they can give as much as they can take...gay weather might let them batter each other out...then when Hatton and Cotto are war-torn he'll go after them...gay weather dont know nuthin about wars! Ask Corrales, Castillo, Barrera, Trinidad, Vargas, Mosley, Lacy, Wright, Hopkins, Hatton, LJ! gay weather dont know nuthin bout that!

Ricky is always going to take shots/punishment in a fight that is just how Ricky fights.

              But...

He is WAR tested! Is Floyd WAR tested? Cotto has been in WARS but he has proven to be vulnerable.

Ricky's asset isnt speed, its not 1 punch power, its not technique or defense either. Ricky Hatton is the most relentless fighter in the game today and anybody who fights him weather it be Maussa or Mayweather is gonna find Ricky's face no doubt-but you better be prepared for 12 rounds of wild ass hell because Ricky is!

Did you guys even see Cotto vs. Maussa, there was no comparison, Cotto threw some flawless combinations, Hatton was throwing slow, one at a time punches. Cotto is much bigger than Hatton, if Hatton begins with his dirty BS stuff Cotto will push him off and rough him up.

Talk about his chin all you want, he's never been KO'ed and Torres hits very hard, boxing wise Cotto looks superior to Hatton.

Hatton didnt impress me, he wasnt as sharp as he normally is and i think Maussa's weird style took him time to get used to.

Hatton looked a bit too strong and was looking to load up too much.

**** performance from Hatton tonight, all the better for him. His chances of getting someone like Floyd to take the risk must have doubled by tonight, and it WAS an off night. Though if even on an off night he can win 5 out of 8 rounds (on my cards) and knock his man out cleanly in the ninth that's not a bad night's work.
