Roy is talking about the prime Toney he fought as a middleweight. Even Toney says Pac beats Floyd.
James Toney says that because he is VERY VERY TIGHT with the Roach family. I mean Roach was Toneys trainer when he got caught using steroids. We can't take his opinion seriously.
I found that ******ed too. Floyd fans getting mad when roy actually says he'd probaly beat floyd while manny fans are rejoicing when roy said he'd beat manny without use of the word probably.
Hey, read the WHOLE RJJ quote and stop making yourself more ******.
You've reached third grade, right? English is your language, correct?
Then why the hell can you not understand this?...
"...Manny Pacquiao, he's a whole different animal. He's a southpaw who throws bombs," ..."You got to survive his power then you deal with him. THAT'S STILL YET TO BE SEEN. Of course with my size I'll beat him, BUT IF I WAS IN HIS WEIGHT CLASS, THAT WOULD BE A GOOD FIGHT."
James Toney and Floyd might have simular styles but they are hardly the same fighter. Toney has multiple positive steriod test and has never had the discipline that Floyd has had over the years. Floyd trains like a madman while Toney comes to the ring with a bowling ball for a stomach. Floyd is very vesatile while Toney is stuck in his shoulder roll. RJJ is entitled to his own opinion but that doesnt mean I have to buy it.
Floyd is a better fighter than Toney. Hes got more variety than Toney as you said, plus more speed and far more consistency. Nobody ever has to use phrases like "in shape" or "a motivated PBF" because PBF is always in top form.
But in addition, when people compare floyd to different eras, they compare him at 147 and that division is historically stacked with guys like SRR, SRL, Hearns ect and PBF is a guy from 130 who doesnt have the same power at 147 but he sure had power at 130-135.
I dont see Roy's style as being trouble for Floyd, all he has is speed and an unconventional style and when you get two fast guys, one who is used to making mistakes and getting away with it, the counter puncher usually wins. Floyd is susceptible to a good jab, which Jones doesnt use. I dont see how someone with a little speed advantage p4p beats floyd when they are so open and his timing is so good.

Like I posted, roy said he'd probably beat floyd but would beat manny. He didn't say probably with regards to manny but again you are not well versed in the english language so I can't expect you to understand.
So even if its a good fight and roy has to survive manny's power, and if they were in the same weight class, he feels he definitely would beat manny. Roy feels he probably beats floyd.

Read this:
Manny got humiliated by JMM, but the judges gave him a gift decision.
If JMM could do it, there is no question as to whether a prime RJJ would annihilate him.
Jones supposes that he would beat Floyd based on beating the then #1P4P Toney who is also a defensive genius.
Pac's only chance is a puncher's chance. Meaning he has little skill that would help him in the match but there's a possibility that he could land a lucky punch.
You're never gonna make it if you lower your standards. Aim for the moon, and the sky will be yours! To be the best, you've got to feel and imagine you are the best.
Are you implying that you only have to FEEL and IMAGINE you're the best to be the best?
Are you serious?

****ing hell man, talk about clutching at straws, read what it says yourself man and stop making things up. He thinks he would probably beat floyd and he thinks if he can survive Pacs power which he says has not been done yet, then you can try to defeat him.
mayweather is different, he does not have raw power, thats why he can see himself defeating him, with pacman, he knows he can be seriously hurt which deteriorates you as the fight goes on, thus losing rounds.
First and last post here as all you will see on this threads is *******s gloating and *****s like yourself acting like he said something else (twisting the statements)

stop being thick and posting he says he would definitely beat pacman, he never said that, stop lying.
Seriously wats wrong with u dudes? Roy has his opinion and he stated it. There's no need to argue how he's wrong or try to change up his words. That's pathetic. I agree with him for the most part but Floyd doesn't fight much like toney so that's false. Otherwise I'd say he'd beat both guys but I don't see how he'd have a hard time with Manny.

I said he feels, not he said. AGain, please learn to read and comprehend english please. You don't see me in the Pinoy lounge butchering the language do you? I simply posted EXACTLY what roy said.
Roy said he feels he probably beats floyd because he and toney have the same style. So perhaps you should read the article.

LOL thinking JMM and RJJ have the same fighting style.
Humilated? If that is the case, Floyd got taken to school by Castillo.
RJJ doesn't like pressure, and Pacquiao will bring that with accuracy and power, he will make RJJ work for every minute of every round, until RJJ begins to tire and Pacquiao would take him out.
Floyd is easy work for RJJ, slow pace allows RJJ to pick his shots and combos and get out of there with out being countered.
RJJ will make Floyd look silly much the same way he did to Toney.
