This is a good thread. I'm glad I made this thoughtful thread. British boxing is every bit a part of the pugilist fabric as american boxing .(maybe not but british boxing is great nevertheless)

I read somewhere that Ali was a prophet as well, because when Cooper hit him Ali told all american boxers now and IN THE FUTURE to be careful cuz

'British boxers hit you so hard they shook your ancestors in africa'

Nigel Benn and Lennox Lewis proved that Ali aint no liar

Ya Ted Lewis is a sport changer for British Boxer. Obviously Lennox Lewis is probably the most dominant of the lot in H2H matchups and overall ability talent, but I will rate Ted Lewis above him in terms of historical impact.

Also Chris EUBANK and Benn are both TRUE British champions. Lennox is not as british as they are and that's ok. He still represent the flag.

I honestly feel Eubank and Benn would have given prime RJJ the fight of his life. Not trying to be anti RJJ, but I think Roy never wanted any part of Nigel

Could have been UK legend since Calzaghe is from Wales.

                  What no Bruno?

I wouldn't call Nigel Benn the greatest British fighter, but I think the general public (Myself included) remember him as a tough working class hero. No bs with Nigel, what you saw was what you got.
