Comments Thread For: Juanma Could Possibly Continue Career at Super Feather

Former WBO super bantamweight and featherweight champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (31-2, 28KOs) is possibly going to continue his career at super featherweight. According to manager and trainer Orlando Pinero, Lopez has to work very hard to make the featherweight limit of 126-pounds. At nearly 29-years of age, Pinero believes it's time for his boxer to consider a move to 130-pounds.

Lol he'll be fine as long as he avoids any of the top 3 guys in that division. I should say 2 cause Broner is GBP.

Not too many big names and he can't hang with Broner. Maybe going straight to lightweight, if his struggles with weight were as bad he said they were.

            He's now a rebuilding project.

New coach, new weight class.......maybe get a tatoo.

He has to change a lot if he wants to compete at a high level. Give him like 3 or 4 tomato cans.

But cans with good beards so he can work on Defense and form.

he could go there. but there are many salido types there as well and they are all bigger, if not as skilled as salido. gonna be tough going. and oh yea, he'd do well to stay away from broner and uchiyama.

Juanma has to change a lot to be successful. It might work against him overall. He is to offensive minded and like to admire his work like he is going to KO everybody.

He can get an easy title shot but he is no more the cash cow of the division

                    Broner-Lopez make it hapen.

Broner has alot of options, it seems.
