    A prime 126 JMM doesn't beat a prime Hamed at 126.

Hamed not being in the HOF is BS.

JMM is a legend for what he did at 130 135 and 140 more than what he accomplished at 126.

That said Morales and JMM would have beatin Naz on the night of April 7 2001.
Pretty much almost everyone in this thread never followed Naz (minus Dirk etc) and just based his entire career off of the MAB fight.

I can't wait till the next generation of boxing fans use Roy's fight against Glenn Johnson or Danny Green as to why their current favorite fighter beats him (Jones Jr.)

Hamed basically stopped training, as he was so convinced that he would never lose no matter what he did, nor whom he fought. The greatest all time ego, even worse than Mayweather since Mayweather really is very uncertain of himself. He probably was the hardest featherweight puncher of the past 50 years, and literally unbeatable in his prime The boxer who showed up for Barrera had long before lost interest in fighting, and trained only for a little over 2 weeks going through the motions. It's well known in British boxing circles

He'd even stopped flipping over the ropes.

I guess we'll never find out because Barrera retired his a$$. Hamed was a joke waiting to be exposed, he had no heart and that's why he retired after he got his @ss kicked. Barrera made him look like a fool. Hamed might be a HOF fighter in the UK but not anywhere else.

              Like who?

Hamed offered JMM a career high payday.

Morales was willing to jump to 130lbs and face Mayweather.....what makes you think he would duck JMM? Also Arum was willing to give JMM a career high payday to face Morales....yet JMM wanting all the money HBO put up for the fight (which was more disgraceful than Floyd offering Manny a flat fee in an attempt to kill the fight)

I hate MAB and to be honest, check his track record and you will realize he ducked no one.

I swear you JMM **** shiners kill me with these wack attempts to revise history. No one ducked JMM, but what did happen was JMM cried the big names were avoiding him, only to get offered career high paydays and in turn price himself out of a fight.

JMM has pretty much fought and beaten every type of style there is. Hamed would've looked just as silly as he did against Barerra.

I don't think it matters which Hamed shows up, it'd be about which JMM showed up. My boxing brain and references (Barrera) lead me to believe Marquez's superior technique, timing, and chin would beat Hames up in an entertaining fight. Then again, he did have some trouble with the awkward Chris John at 126. And yes, I'm aware he should've got that victory.

                      Cool story bro

oh and Morales admitted to ducking Marquez because he had no name. In one of his latest interviews.

He would've gotten more money for a Mayweather fight.
No one is saying he ducked Marquez because he was afraid.

It was a high risk low reward scenerio
