Hamed might give Marquez trouble early. But mid way Marquez will figure Hamed out and win by ko

JMM beats him, no doubt in my mind. He makes too many mistakes and is too wide open. He is fast but all of the guys are fast at those lower weights so you get in with a good counter puncher with good timing and he is going to get caught. JMM is an old fart and he still can catch pac easily today, the speed difference between JMM and Pac today is much greater than JMM and Hamed back at 126.

Emmanuel Steward himself said he knew Hamed would loose to JMM. This was on one of this internet radio interviews. It was in the last year or two.

Awesome Brittard logic. JMM gets up against a far superior fighter but not against overrated Hammed.

Just look at the resumes. Hamed fought in Domestic level in the UK. Kostya fought in USA. Even when Kostya was over the hill and when he faced a prime Hatton, he lasted till the 11th and kept the fight close (look at the score cards). This was when Kostya was pushing close to 40 and Hatton was in his prime.

                + the KO over JCC
+ more decent worldclass fighters on his record

                Kostya Resume > Hamed's

and if Kostya and Hamed fought against each other? I would bet house on Kostya.

Kostya one of most underrated Boxers in the game.

Kostya didnt hide in the UK or Australia, he fought 90% of his fights in USA and only fought his first like 10 fights in Australia
So you name Zab Judah and a shot JCC....and the fact that he lasted 11 rounds with a prime Hatton

Yes I rate Kostya Tyszu very highly but Naz did just as much a FW. He beat every champion in that division and only lost to a great fighter.

Not as great as Vince Phillips but you get what im saying.

Pacquiao being a "far superior fighter" doesn't necessarily mean he had the type of power that Naz had at featherweight.

                    obvious answer is marquez
he's just a better fighter. he has the skills to outbox hamed, the power to keep him honest, and the chin to stand up to his power if he had to

if hamed dropped marquez i dont see any reason why he cant do the same thing he's done over and over again and get back up.

he's done it against better fighters, and would do it if he had to against hamed.

marquez via wide decision. he's an ATG technician. he'd pick him apart.
