are you serious? cotto speaks excellent english, hes been speaking nothing but english in public for years. anybody who learns a new language as an adult is gonna pronounce some words funny but he understands perfectly. isnt that obvious? when has he ever not understood what someone said to him in the last 5 years or so?


to answer TS floyd very rarely STARTS trash talking. if an oponent says anything he considers dissrespectful he goes off, but if they dont he usually stays respectful.

cotto, JMM, baldomir, mitchell, hernandez, chavez etc said nothing so he said nothing to or about them.

mosley, ortiz, hatton, DLH, judah, corrales etc all trash talked him and/or questioned his ability and achievments so floyd went off. once he goes off he always takes it further than the guy who started, but he rarely ever starts.

Well he has recently been making more effort to talk English, but it isn't perfect. I don't think he understands so well if someone speaks normally.
