Defamation lawsuit on the way, those comments had nothing too do with being hurt still, that's who Juanma is and Ramirez and his son are both great officials and the apology is the "Rivera's way of trying too save face, sorry too late...

After a fighters been taking heavy punches for the majority for the fight, gets knocked out, they're not going to say the most cleverest of comments once awake.

I know these apologies might've been issued to smooth things over and avoid a lawsuit, but I'm not feeling so cynical about them. The wording seems sincere, and it's understandable that JuanMa was an emotional and physical mess immediately following the fight.
I applaud Lopez for issuing words of contrition. His accusations were insane. I'm fairly certain he honestly regrets them today, after the smoke has cleared. JuanMa fought like a lion last night. I knew after the Mtagwa fight he's got guts. He proved that again versus Salido. I don't think Lopez has a future as an elite fighter, but he certainly brings it. He deserves respect for that...and his apology.

It was a great match and even better than the 1st fight. Not mad at JuanMa for popping off at the mouth after a loss as it was more awkward and funny than anything else. Juanma is a Rican but i have to admit i find his fights entertaining as hell

most likely Top Rank paid a PR firm to do some damage control....Juan Ma never said any of these things.
