If he did says this, props. Also like mentioned, he WAS hitting Salido with hard shots and maybe in his head he felt he was dominating since maybe he really believes in his power. Can't fault him for being angry after a devestating loss. Some guys need to finish on their back in order to truly feel beaten. Juanma is a lion, and he was out of hand but I think it's understandable, especially considering his proud nature.
well at leased he has the balls to say he was wrong, like I said before I dont pay attention to what fighters say after being KO and alot of emotions running wild, I'm not saying it was right it just we all say ****** thing at one point or another and when time to think is given we feel foolish, bad ect. JuanMa take some time off get a better corner/trainers and rebound. Look at Salido with all those losses and keep coming for more, its not how many times you fall but how many times you get up.
Juanma needs to accept the truth and bear to face a new trainer. I am Puertorican and I noticed that he is not on the physical condition where he should be. Therefore, his trainer is not doing a good job on him. Salido had a great performance last night. Although last night bout was better than the first.
Yea, you can tell my the quality of the writing Juan Ma never said anything. His Promoters just got someone to write a letter and put a fake quote from Juan Ma.
Dude doesnt even speak English, and if there was a translation it would be written 1000% diffirent than what was written. It looks it was written by a highly educated person who knows english and took writing classes in school.
most likely Top Rank paid a PR firm to do some damage control....Juan Ma never said any of these things.
That is a translation. Original letter
I dont know if Juanma himself wrote that letter, probably not, but I think Juanma didn´t know very well what was he saying when he did that interview.

Proof? Juan Ma has always been classy and well spoken. Boxers are more times than not emotional after wins, but more so after losses. Its clear he was speaking out of emotion and after having time to think clearly and evaluate his actions he did the right thing.
As emotional he might have been, that was the most embarrasing and unprofessional post fight talk I've ever seen. The ******** accusations and the flat out denial of the course of the fight was beyond ******ed. And this was someone fighting for a world title, ffs.
The ref is right in not accepting the apology. What a joke.
Bravo to all connected with this brilliant battle.
It was a masterpiece of courage and will.
In the heat and frustration of such a devastating defeat, Mr. Lopez can certainly be forgiven for his temporary insanity.
As a fan who knows many professional fighters, it would appear best for this fine Champ to discover a safer way to make a living.
A third time around will not be the charm.
