This is true as well. Except for Gus Johnson, I think he is terrible. But, Tarver, Farhood, Bernstein are damn good commentators and overall IMO are better than HBO. But, when Gus gets called for duty I take HBO all day.

I don't think Bernstein and Farhood are too great. They say some outlandish things at times.

Tarver seems pretty good most of the time though.

Admittedly, I haven't seen much of them.

That Gus guy is terrible Reminds me a bit of Duke McKenzie was 100x more energy and intensity.

Then again Duke's not that bad.

Let's be frank, here : Merchant is no more biased than anybody else on the HBO commentary crew. Have you heard Lampley call a Cotto fight? It's disgusting.

What about Kellerman with Mayweather or Marquez?

Even Emmanuel "I knew this was gonna happen" Steward is partial to certain fighters.
