Salido, for a guy who was taking some decent bombs from a guy who supposedly hits hard and also threw a lot of punches himself looked unusually strong that late in the fight IMO. I'm not saying he is on PEDs, but his performance was impressive...possibly TOO impressive in some people's eyes
Don't all fighters have to take a test immediately after the fight?

I've been watching and following boxing for almost 30 yrs and as a puertorican I'm extremely proud of our boxers and what they have brought to this sport. PR vs MEX rivalry has brought great fights, some have been sweet other sour but always good for boxing, until this d!ck of Juanma opened his f/ucking mouth after the fight.

As a Boricua I'm ashamed of the guy that put his heart and soul in the fight and then threw all his effort to the garbage w/ those comments. I'm ashamed of the score cards...no way in hell Juanma was winning the fight, I had Salido comfortably ahead, he outworked p/ussy Juanma during the hole fight. That 8 and 9th rounds are the best rounds I've seen probably since Morales/Barrera1.

If I'm the referee I'll sew this mofo for defamation and whatever else I could legally f/ucked him with. This f/ucker and those judges don't represent me, PR greats nor our flag. I just finished reading some of PR newspapers and comments and I assure you that 99.9% feel the same way.

To Salido mad respect and congratulations, you showed class, sportsmanship and was true to your words when you said that you were going to do your talking inside the ring!!! best of luck!!!

Great fight. Best fight I've seen this year by some margin. Round 9 was epic.

Maybe this will be FOTY and round 9 ROTY.

i'm rooting for juanma in that fight but i was very disappointed. when he was down he should not immediately get on his feet. it was like amateurish of him to do it. and that caused his defeat.

Very good fight, great last three rounds. Man, Salido not only did it again I thought he did it even better. Any discussion about inside fighters or pressure fighters has to include Salido with the way he has fought against Gamboa and Lopez. Fantastic stuff from him in this fight.

It is kind of a shame to see Lopez lose, because it's always nice to see young fighters come back from adversity, but that's not going to happen with Lopez. He is what he is, a decent fighter.

Couple of funny things in this fight. After seeing Lopez do it, I have to ask? Why does every fighter that has crap or below average defense try to imitate Mayweather and the shoulder rolling? So many crappy defensive fighters do it, and fail miserably. Also, Lopez stumbling around trying to get up was funny as hell.

Great fight , great ending , the way juanma hit the canvas , head was shaking like a bobblehead . I thought the ref was calling the fight against Salido , allowing juanma to throw elbows , low blows , hit while holding and other stuff and the moment Salido got close to the belt he would get a warning ... The scorecards it was expected , they wanted juanma to win , I love the sport of boxing but the commissions are ruining the sport by doin nothin bout judges like this one . I used to box , and completely stop competing after judges said Williams beat Lara , worst decision ever , I remember calling my trainer right after the fight and told him I quit....

JuanMa doesn't use his jab like he should, and is slow nd wide open for shots like he received last night. Once he came across a veteran wit his strength nd wit a better stamina, it was lights out for him. I like how Mikey Garcia uses his jab. It would be a good fight to see against Salido.
