how am i being defensive? and i don't need to know all the details to realize this is just a minor issue because errors in payment of taxes isn't that big a deal here.

We do know that he paid taxes, but that the Gov thinks that he might have to pay more. all that needs to be done is for manny to issue them the documents they require, pay the additional taxes and fines if any and that's that.

and they act like we don't know what we're talking about and they know more than we do regarding our own country.

and i go like what the, what the?!?!?!

Government asking Pacquiao for money they're owed = political attack
Malacañang or the BIR could have just issued a press statement that it was still waiting for Pacquiao to produce the summoned documents but it chose instead to announce that it is suing Pacquiao for doing so.

AND they are still not sure if manny actually owes them taxes. they have su****ions, which is why they are asking for his documents.

i keep telling you guys, this is just a minor issue that'll just blow over after a while. BUT if your lives are that pathetic that any hint of bad news for manny makes you guys sing hosannas, who am i to deny you your happiness?

Also, we're all idiots for speculating about the problem because, "we don't know Philippines law, taxes, and politics." But the same Pinoy all spent months even years talking about Floyd's legal and income tax problems in America

The irony is killing me on this one.
            really now?

aren't you doing exactly the same thing that "Pinoy" did? speculating about the problem without knowing squat about the situation? you're just like him then.

Lol! You're obviously confusing manny with someone else. The man recently bought a $300,000 sports car before his last fight... In cash.

                  • OK, Pac is in trouble for not paying taxes but this thing will be settled. So its million of pesos which means probably hundred of thousand of dollars.

                    • Pacquiao's an idiot, but this is Philippine tax laws we're talking about. He's not spending a night in jail, although I think he should.
