I dont blame Gamboa one single bit for not signing for this fight. I thought it smelled bad all along but most people just wanted the easy option to call him a coward and didn't want to understand the situation.
Typical Arum & Oner, trying to shaft people for their own benefit, then leaving them to hang out to dry.

I would love to see the Gamboa vs Rios fight and i don't think either man fears the other, they both believe they can win, but I hope Gamboa gets the best for his family & future and Arum and Co don't bully him onto the sidelines and bench him for a year.

This is what duquense told me, duquense has been extremely reliable during the last 2 weeks and has direct contact with gamboa's team on a daily basis.

" Gamboa and Oner came to an agreement between each other but when they got to Las Vegas to negotiate with Arum Oner did not stay true to his word and got on Arum's side instead of Gamboa. Gamboa got upset because nothing of what he had talked with Oner materialized and refused to sign. After that Oner and Gamboa got into an argument because Oner was telling Gamboa that he did not go to Las Vegas on vacation and that he must sign. One thing leads to another and Gamboa asks Oner if he is charging him for the hotel and food expenses during this "business trip" (which ONer was). Then Gamboa gets upset and him and his friend phoned floyd and mayweather asked him where he was located and sent on of his personal chauffeur to pick him up, , may asked him how much does he need for his hotel expenses and gives him the money to cover all of it.

When duque talked to gamboa regarding him signing the contract right after the news broke gamboa told him that it was all a lie that they probably did it to look good with hbo and then claim that yuro got hurt during training camp. According to Yuri Tony Gonzalez brought him the contract but the contract was fraudulent and not a single demand of yuri's had been met. (I think the contract even had a 5 year extension)

According to duque gamboa wants his fight he just doesnt want to be tied to a rokkie contract for the rest of his career.
