This was a bad(and I mean very bad)stoppage imo,I have JML winning the rematch..I think this has the potential to be FOTY...I think JML needs to come forward, not fight so much going backwards..Put the pressure on Salido with a high guard and a stiff jab..What's ya thoughts??

Bad stoppage?? Maybe. However Juanma was out on his feet for 3 rounds & he wasn't going to win. So IMO the stoppage was decent. It's not like his power even bothered Salido. It didn't. Would you have preffered him to be battered into oblivion?

Man, Lopez was getting his ass whooped. I thought it was a good stoppage, Lopez was only going to take lots of unnecessary punishment if it kept going. Fun fight.

Just because JML comes forward does not mean he has to go to war..I believe that to be a misconception...

I agree it was a bad stoppage but in reality the ref did Lopez a favor. He really got beat up in that fight. The only way Lopez wins is if he try to box Salido. But I just don't see him being able to outbox Salido for 12 rounds. Salido 's style and chin are to much for Lopez. The fight will play outalmost the same way as the first. Maybe Lopez does a little better and wins the first half of the fight but once Salido stars landing his right hand, pobrecito, it will be the being of the end for Juanma.

I would have preferred him to get a chance to finish the fight..He was the Champion and still punching, you have to give him the benefit in a Championship fight imo..

The fight was stopped with damn near 5 rounds left & Juanma out on his feet for the previous 2. Finish the fight?? He wouldn't have finished the round. He'd have just eaten blows for roughly about 20 more seconds. His team would have thrown in the towel or he'd have made himself a little sleep area right there on the canvas. Pointless to continue. He had no power, his feet were failing & he couldn't take Salido's shots.

You maybe right, but then again you maybe wrong, there's no facts to back up ya post...It's all hear say,the fact is you don't stop a Championship fight while a fighter is still punching...IMO this was a bad stoppage...Froch Taylor was a good stoppage,it was one fighter who could not defend himself..That was a good stoppage, and an example of a good stoppage...
