    Shame on Gamboa

We all know Gamboa called out Rios... and now he aint man enough or brave enough to back up his call out... Brandon's willingness to accept his challenge made him think twice about going through with it.... What a COWARD!

Who are people so sympathetic to Gamboa JUST because he's a FW? Why does this matter one bit? He wanted to fight rios, then agreed and now is refusing to fight because of "promotional pacts"

Not to mention the he is a favorite on just about every betting site makes it a non-issue.

Actually you are correct, Gamboa never CALLED OUT RIOS....Gamboa wanted bigger fights. Top Rank & Arum are the ones who brainstormed the idea of pitting Rios vs Gamboa......I haven't yet to see a quote from last year where Gamboa actually said "I WANT TO SPECIFICALLY MOVE UP 2 WEIGHT CLASSES TO FIGHT BRANDON RIOS"

He wants nothing to do with guys his size. He's the size of a WW, he's supposed to be fighting guys like Pacquiao, Ortiz, Berto, and even JMW's like Mayweather*, Cotto, Lara, Kirkland. But he wouldn't do that cause all of them would **** him up and he knows it. Gamboa probably ****s him up to. If the fight happens and Gamboa beats him, I would laugh so hard at this guy and his brute fans.
Any of those guys at jmw would be career suicide for Rios.

Neither have I. Where's this mysterious quote from Gamboa that everyone's talking about.

But isn't that what Rios balloons up to?

I agree with a lot that you have said regarding this subject R.C. but I haven't seen anything from Gamboa directly calling out Rios. An article that i posted from Yahoo Sports in Nov 2011 stated that Gamboa wanted bigger fights and it was Top Rank who figured Rios-Gamboa would be one of those "bigger fights" for Gamboa.....

                    Lets try this AGAIN:

Gamboa, who was frustrated by his inability to land a super fight with former featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, finally opted to call out Rios last year after a victory over Daniel Ponce de Leon in Atlantic City, N.J.
                    Code:

Gamboa should of never called out Rios in the first place.
