not that its possible to think any lower of chavez jr, but if he fights sergio, I think we'll be able to find a way, cause chavez jr. is a pathetic joke of a "fighter" who stands zero chance of beating sergio in any way, shape, or form.

He is scared ****less to fight sergio, cause sergio has skills, and chavez is a name and that is IT!! only casual fans like sergio? LMAO right right keep tellin yourself that...

Sergio has not accepted even though that is the most $$$ Sergio has ever made in his pathetic career.
I don't really think it's quite fair that any top title holder should have to take only 20% of the residual income, no matter if he's fighting the master of the galaxy. Regardless of whatever he's made in his career, it's very demeaning.

What's so funny about it? You make him sound like the next coming comedian. You're easily pleased. They said the same things and a lot worse about Hopkins, which actually were true, and Jones, which were not really.

Both Martinez and Chavez have some very solid wins over a few (not many) good fighters, and Martinez is a top fighter regardless of whom he fought. he tries to make the best fights he can. He just has a poor Promoter.

Sergio should be getting the bigger share since he's considered the better fighter at the moment. But Sergio has a crappy promoter with no fan base in America; (Argentinians can't support him here). Sergio is an entertaining fighter and should change promoters.

Sadly, drawing power means more than skill and talent when negotiating contracts.

You know it's a shame reading some of your post, so called boxing fans sound more like promoters, and not seeing a dime, if this is all true that means that mexicans, puerto ricans, and americans are the only ones that will ever truly rule boxing in the U.S. So we'll never now who is the best, just the most popular. So you guys need to stop protecting fighters like Alverez and chavez, with their free belts, until they fight the best. How can you have so many fights and a belt but never got in the ring with the best in your division.

Chavez has more drawing power than Sergio, and knows the fight is very risky, so he hasn't fought him YET. . . And don't use that "belt" BS. . In another argument, you same lot will say "belts don't matter/don't mean shyt". . . So which is it?
the one difference is that guys like pirog etc. arent mandatories for sergio. whereas sergio is the emeritus champion and wbc has already said on two separate occasions that jr. has to fight sergio cuz sergio is the mandatory. it's not just about drawing power. if u want to keep the belt, the requirement is that u have to fight the mandatory...everyone knows that. when hbo rejected zbik, sergio was stripped of his title. so now, if jr. doesnt fight him then he should be stripped of the title. thats how it goes.

stop bringing up money and/or who has more drawing power. it's irrelevant. what is relevant is the fact that SERGIO IS THE MANDATORY for the belt. nothing else matters.
