Have you seen Barkley vs Duran? Duran did better then people expected but he also was given a gift decision.

I thought Duran won a close decision, I felt the difference the the knockdown. Duran-Barkley was big going in, given that Barkley had just beat Hearns. After losing the close fight to Duran, Barkley didn't do much after that. He beat Horn and than beat Hearns again, though by that point Hearns was a bit past his prime. Still a good 2nd win over Hearns, because he'd just beaten Hill. But, Barkley didn't much besides that.

Barkley has the better win, because obviously Sergio won't beat someone the caliber of Hearns, but Sergio may end up having a deeper resume than Barkley.

The thing is Duran-Barkley was extremely competitive.

I think the KD really helped and the fact Duran wasn't as active with throwing punches but when he did he landed the cleaner blows plus being given no chance at all helped.....

Beside the big 2 at 47 who do you think would really enhance Sergios legacy??? I think an extended run into his early 40's would really help or maybe a title at another weight class even though Sergio and his team have been back and forth on the idea....

Yeah but it wasn't supposed to be.... I think the thought was after Barkley KO'ed Hearns and Hearns got Duran out of there fairly quickly that Duran had no shot.... Plus the showings against Davey Moore and Hagler were supposed to be Durans last hurrah so to speak

Not to discount the Pavlik win for Sergio but Barkley has Hearns on his resume.... Duran also KD'ed Barkley something I doubt Floyd would be able to do with Sergio

Add that to the fact Duran started off at super bantam while Floyd started off at 130..... And I lean towards Duran
It's not fair to bring odds into this. Floyd would probably enter into a fight with Barkley as the favorite. The odds shouldn't discount any accomplishment.
