Nobody deny FLoyd's a idiot, but Larry Merchant don't know **** about boxing. Roy Jones Jr every single call he made is correct, Larry had made like 50% bad calls when commenting it's embarrassing.

I agree he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I'm not a great mind, just an adamant fan who WILL back up his claims. It is a valid point though we both share on this particular topic.

actually larry merchant is a ****ing ******* that deserves to be crucifixes for the amount of ******ity and ******ation he brings to the sport when commentating.

Some random examples of merchant being unbelievable.

Golota hits Bowe 3-4 times with low blows, larry rambles on about how Golota didn't do it on purpose because his 'mind wasn't fast enough' and 'it's cuz when you are hurt you do things' that is the dumbest excuse for low blows i ever heard. 'if you are hurt you can't control yourself' rofl. jesus christ.

Chris Byrd eats a monster left hand from Ike Ibecbuechi (that left hand might have just killed wladimir) Byrd still gets up all drooling and complaining, merchant goes on to insult Byrd for 3 minutes because Byrd was talking when he got up. That is a case of a fighter who is SERIOUSLY hurt and don't know what he's saying .

Larry Merchant after the Golota disqualification attempts to word the interview with Bowe in a way that forces Bowe to say 'I was beaten down so badly I will retire' and Bowe not being as smart as Lennox Lewis gets suckered in easily. Merchant just being a ******* instead of complimenting on a surreal brave performance from Bowe.

Larry insulting BOTH VITALI AND CHRIS BYRD. rofl. in their fight. it's surreal because he was just throwing bombs at both of them as if he understand even a 100th the pain they were feeling.

The best moment ever was when Larry try to pull a fast one on LENNOX LEWIS, after Vitali fight and got ****ing owned as Lennox instead of listening to larry's questions just kept repeating 1-2 lines over and over so even a imbecile like larry eventually got it ... 'LOOK AT THE STATE of his face larry look at it, he was lucky they stop the fight, lennox lewis the best I WAS GONNA KNOCK HIM OUT' repeat 10x...

dam good post! and all true. sometimes larry talks just to be heard. i dont ever recall him imparting any real boxing knowledge. and thats because he never stepped into the ring or trained a fighter. stewart and atlas and even tarver give meaningful insight into the fight game while larry and jim are just talking heads. and in the past larry did come across as drunk. perhaps he spent time in rehab?

And if he made a comment behind the Mic that's not antagonizing either. Its stating his opinion on which people have either agreed or disagreed with for decades...its his job. If Floyd takes that personally he's just not very professional. That you refuse to pinpoint a specific incident just proves you're full of it.

My comment wasn't directed at you so STFU and quit whining. And I most certainly do know something about you, you like to make claims and not support them. Am I wrong? And Edgarg is right in his post about Merchant and in my opinion his assessment of you. Him and I don't see eye to eye on many things, but on this we can agree.
