this story is busted, khan really seems to have nothing to offer to support his claims.

I find it odd that Khan would make such an announcement, plaster it all over the social networks and his official website and conduct numerous interviews regarding the WBA belt heading back to him without someone in the WBA telling him it would.

Khan presumably got the wrong end of the stick or took something he was told too literally.
