Sounds like BoxingScene and Khan have the wrong info.
I find it odd that Khan would make such an announcement, plaster it all over the social networks and his official website and conduct numerous interviews regarding the WBA belt heading back to him without someone in the WBA telling him it would.

damn, looks like khan will be upset after giving an interview about how he is delighted to hear this and it'll give him a boost coming into the rematch. hopefully this is true though, if he wants them back, beat peterson in the rematch.

boxingscene and the mail online or whatever the site was that interviewed khan just went by with what they heard, no biggie. at least it wasn't true.

              Its' extremely odd.

He must have misinterpreted something or WBA is feeling backlash from their decision.

Khan needs to stop worrying about who's giving him things and start earning things. Simple formula
