I saw Khan's tweet yday and made a thread about it, and just like BPP i said there's no way he'd put it up unless he was told

Apparently there was a misunderstanding. When Khan was at the WBA's convention. He received a ring by the WBA that said Super champion. Which was owed to him since Khan unification. Khan then thought that meant he was getting the title back. Which is not the case, Peterson will walk into the ring as the WBA champ.

I though Lamont got stripped by the WBA because of the controversy earlier.

no they ordered a rematch. and since the rematch date is set i see no point in stripping peterson.

I'm going by what Gilberto Mendoza Jr is saying. Now Jr is the Vice President I think. It's his dad Gilberto Mendoza Sr who runs the WBA. So I guess whatever Sr says goes. And, he might said something different later on. But, Jr told me that Peterson is walking into the ring with the title.

yeah it's worth being on twitter, just follow all people that mean something in boxing and journalists and you get a lot of news before it breaks.

If true then Khan is too dumb. I am a fan of his but he clearly didn't go to school much.
