    • There's a video of this.

      Shameful.

How he even thinks it makes sense in his own head is unbelievable.

He's said 50-50 before, so it's clear he'll continue to leap frog to the next best excuse, forever.

And when you can't refute the argument with any facts, employ manny diehard fan strategy #1, call the poster and/or floyd some type of ****sexual slur. Also, throw in some of strategy #14, which is to say floyds stips are "demands" while manny's were just "requests" and some of #23, blame all on floyd.

Wake me when manny comes within 1 mil ppvs of 2.44 mil. Now go walk tomorrow's dinner and help manny pay his taxes.

Maybe you will wake up in th present day.
I don't know how manny gets a big number without floyd, other than JMM4. TR has no viable big names, while floyd has cotto, canelo, khan, and martinez.

But manny is proven so he will not do less than 750k right now. But floyd wont do less than 1mil and that is the difference.

              • i think if pacquiao hadnt made that statement about a willingnes to take less even if it was just talk, if hurt his posture, im not going to spend pages and pages arguing this and that, but both guys are doing whats best for themselves, i am not going to sit here and argue all day and night about numbers and this and that, but pac and floyd are doing whats best for themselves, period. not much else needs to be said.

No matter how much you love Manny, you can never change this. Common ooponents floyd will ALWAYS sell more. And, as a reminder:

floyd got to #1 with ODH. He will get to #1 with Manny, then he will have #1 and #2
Manny can't get to#1 without floyd. ODH couldn't get to #1 without floyd.

And when they fought each other, they did floyd/Ortiz numbers. So who is manny, floyd or ortiz?
You are absolutely right! Floyd can again be a part of a fight that could become the #1. But only with Pac. Without Pac, he can't. His best after DLH is lower than Pac's best after DLH. On his own, Floyd's can't do anything close to the DLH fight.

Floyd has been doing PPV fights since 2005 in his own territory, the U.S.. Since then, as the top draw, he has only 4 fights in the top 25 PPVs, while Pac has 6, and that is only since 2009.
Before DLH, Floyd fought 3 PPVs where he was the top draw. These were against Gatti, Judah and Baldo. All three bouts didn't even make top 40. Pac's has 6 fights as the top draw that made the top 25 and he did it in a shorter period of time. After DLH, Floyd's best was lower than Pac's best.
Wouldn't you say that those stats are somewhat embarrassing for an American to be outdone in his own country by a one dimensional midget from Asia?

Who among all the foreign boxers, past or present, can do what Pac has done? How many foreign boxers can produce 4 PPV fights that will break into the top 25 PVVs of all time fighting another foreigner in the U.S.?

P.S. Your criteria of using head to head comparison is faulty. Those fights were fought under different circumstances. The overall picture is what you have to consider. That is the best way to have a better understanding of the real score.

startegy #8- when you can't refute post with facts, ask for old OST threads and equate floyds request for OST with his request for the higher purse split becuase they are of course equal. Make sure to insult poster.

WHen floyd needed money to pay taxes, he took what ODH gave him. Looks like history may repeat itself only its manny who may have to take what he gets because he no pay his taxes.

Manny may not be able to afford not to take floyds crappy offer.

Ta I am not one of the floyd fans that doesn't recogmnize manny's ability to sell fights. But while you wont admit it, floyd is in a FAR better position. He has potential fights with:

                      cotto: #3 ppv draw
canelo: most popular young fighter in sport and a mexican
martinez: no name recognition but MW champ
khan: big in england does good business in US.

WHile there is no guarantee, its concievable floyd can do 1.5-1.7 with Cotto. Manny isn't seeing that number with anyone right now.

WHich do you think ther are more of- paying customers who want to see manny or paying customers that want to see floyd lose? So if they think floyd could lose, they'll buy.
