      Cotto has the power edge.

But it's not a huge difference.

Floyd is one of the weakest punches in boxing history EVEN cherry picking opponents with weak chins. So Cotto without a doubt.

          harder puncher?

          cotto

          more effective?
i'd say floyd, especially at this stage. miguel does his best impression of a boxer these days and hardly sits on his shots like he used to. doesnt get close enough to land real power considering the way he's built.

there was a time when cotto's left hook to the body was universally recognized as one of boxing's best punches.

against jr WW and WW he was a real puncher

Cotto is clearly more heavy handed.but floyd is sharper and more accurate

Cotto definitely punches harder than Mayweather.

crazy as it sounds i'd be shocked if he doesn't try and box with floyd for 12 rounds.
i think that mentally he's no longer willing to take the risks involved with going full bore.

call me crazy, but i think that's what he's going to try and do
