Lets not act like Gamboa was hurt/stunned/bothered or anything... it was a quick caught off balance shot he got on Gamboa after Gamboa threw a hook and threw himself to his knees.

Rios' size is no joke though... I may talk as though it could be a blowout, and it very well could, and I am pulling for that end result... But the truth of the matter is, none of know whats going to happen when Rios lands on Gamboa... and it will happen.

To me though, if Rios doesnt knock him out then he loses.

Also I really think that was a sparring match for Gamboa and he has clowning around alot not really taking Salido seriously and got caught but still won easily not fighting at his best.

Gamboa will beat him easier than people think, given he carries the extra weight alright. Too much speed for Rios.

If Rios loses, it's not the end for him though, he'll probably end up fighting Alvarado later in 2012 if Alvarado beats Herrera. Rios-Alvarado would be a f**king war.

Your f**king signature is the TRUTH. No joke. Even before I ever read your sig homie, I felt the same. I'm sure everyone does though. But it's the truth no doubt.

IF Rios takes his shots well he can, that's why i think that's the key for this fight. Rios is going to get hit but if he walks through Gamboa's shots, then Gamboa is in serious trouble. He can't out box himself inside, Robert Garcia and Rios know this.

True but that's not the point. I think that the fact he was knocked down is big deal enough. I understand he wasn't hurt but Rios is going to hit him much, much harder and be right in his face with some great inside fighting.

I'm really excited about this fight because either Rios is going to pull a Margarito vs Cotto I or he's going to get the boxing lesson of his life. Can't wait to see it either way.

Agree 100% with this, hence it's extremely hard to make a prediction. Like you I'm expecting a drained Rios.

Gamboa will dominate Rios from the opening bell. I will not be surprised to see Gamboa win by KO/TKO by round 5

Anyone who thinks this fight has the potential of going 12 rounds is fooling themselves. Rios will either tire out from Gamboa running laps around him and pot shotting all night or Rios will tap that chin and then it's game over. My money is on Rios tapping that chin.
