even if Cotto is bitter at the initial 145 fight in 2009 and the 147 demand for this one, its still his fault for allowing Arum and roach to butt **** him on negotiations the first time around. He still got suckered into agreeing. this was his statement back in 2009 when negotiations were going on. Made a great point.

"The weight of 145 pounds is not a division. If the WBO doesn't agree with my decision, the I wll gladly deliver them the title. I do not have any problems with that. The WBO has the legal authority to dismiss me as champion and I will gladly deliver them the title. Paco Valcárcel knows better than anybody that 145 pounds is not a division," Cotto said.

"If Pacquiao wants the fight to be for the title, it will have to be at 147-pounds. I won the title at the welterweight limit and that is 147 pounds."

Plus he demanded 153 for Margarito so he CHOSE to play the weight game. Cotto still my boy but have to keep it real. its his own fault for agreeing to it.

True man, great post. Cotto has played the weight game too and props to him for not giving in to Pac this time around, but he can't be acting as if he's above it. Plus, Pac whooped his ass, talking like this makes it sound like he's making excuses even if he doesn't mean to.

it's hilarious how you *******s claim to be fans of Cotto too but when something like this comes around all of you disown him and attempt to bash him.

Technically you would need to call the paramedics.

If Pacquiao got burned I'm assuming the fire is over, unless the fire is still going on and he got moved from the source and others are at risk.

I dont think he really means to. I think he was looking forward to attempting to avenge his other loss and thought Pacquiao & Roach were going to play it fair with him this time around and it was going to be easy day for him signing. Instead , things went to **** and he still might be a bit upset about the situation so he chooses to join forces with Floyd to take petty shots at Pacquiao. LOL

Cotto shouldn't really talk...don't fight if you're going to complain about the weight later.
