Cotto was still on his feet in the 12th round and for some reason the REF decided to stop the fight when Miguel was using movement and frustrating Manny who couldnt muster up a plan to cut off the ring and pound Cotto into submission. The fight couldve and shouldve went the distance.

cotto was pretty much out on his feet !!!!!! the referee did the right thing stopping the fight when he did because no one wanted to see cotto run like a punk for 8 straight round like he did !!! i think the ref showed restraint by not stopping the fight sooner than that !!!!!! and if you think manny was frustrated by anything cotto was doing in the 12th round i have a bridge in brooklyn i would like to sell you !!!!! cotto was in survival mode from round 4 on !!!! thats the facts !!!!

Hahahaha, you mean movement that he was running away from Pac and Pac getting frustrated cuz the ref wasn't stopping it.

Even if the fight wasn't stop by the ref, Pac would still win by UD.

And back to Cotto's movement, the members in here said Cotto didn't have movement before he hook up with Steward or his current trainer.

even if Cotto is bitter at the initial 145 fight in 2009 and the 147 demand for this one, its still his fault for allowing Arum and roach to butt **** him on negotiations the first time around. He still got suckered into agreeing. this was his statement back in 2009 when negotiations were going on. Made a great point.

Cotto said two things that build my confidence in order for him to win the fight. Firstly this one:

This will be HUGE I feel and the second thing he said this will be like the Mosley fight I'll have to be aggressive and move. I can't wait for this.

I don't know I feel like I just connect with Cotto somehow, like I know how he's thinking. We both Scorpio's too. I said it, when the real info on the handwrap scandal happened he would seek revenge because he lose a lot of confidence and I said he would have it back. I always knew he would be saying these things, that's why I always supported him. Like when people said bad eye or not Cotto was gonna get smashed, yea OK. He always thought he was the best fighter and so have I, I love his style - vulnerably yet durable with great boxing and a great combination of speed and timing. Boxing is mostly mental man, that Cheato **** did a lot to him. He's a champ and with an actual, no - hungry and genius trainer and with his fire back at a healthy weight - he takes it to Floyd. Floyd ain't built to take his punches too much and Cotto can take Floyd's all night. If Ortiz can take the shots and land 26 power punches without a jab, though out-landed, think about Cotto. Actually to correct one of the posts, Cotto did not quit against Pac, the ref stopped it. So don't get confused with the Marg fight. It must have been a Pac fan who mentioned this because they know the least about boxing lol. I agree Cotto should take the loss like a man, however he has a point, Pac wouldn't even let him fight at the regular WW limit, he made it 145. I am not saying Cotto would have won if he was not drained down, he would have probably lost either way, because of Manny's speed. Cotto actually won the first 2-3 rounds against Manny but the speed was the difference. I think Cotto will be in deeper against Floyd, even at 154, because of the speed difference, and how accurate and skilled Floyd is as a boxer. Pac has mediocre at best fundamentals and just relies on speed/power to win. Pac and Cotto are both as easy to hit as a barn door in all honesty. As I said before, if Floyd takes Cotto's shots and he can't hurt Floyd, Cotto is in deep. He will get surgically taken apart for 12 rounds if he can't force Floyd to make mistakes or really hurt him. Of course this is if Floyd hasn't gotten old overnight or lost a step, which I do not think he has. You will all know by the 4th round how this fight is going to go in all honesty.
