The answer is hell no! He got paid $6 to 10 million, which amounted to perhaps 10 percent of the actual profitts that those fights generated. He won't get 50 percent against Bradley either. He will get slightly more than the $5 to 10 million he has been receiving, but 80 percent of he revenue will still go into Bob Arum's pocket, including 27 percent of Pac's actual purse.

If Pac is not getting paid 50 percent of the profit right now when he is the only draw on the PPV card, what makes you think he deserve 50 percent against Mayweather? Mayweather is right. Pacquaio is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He has allowed Arum to throw him crumbs for the last four years compared to the amount he actually generates. Yet, when he has a chance to get the amount he deserves ($40 million plus) against Mayweather, he allows Arum and Arum's errand boy, Koncz, to convince him to walk away because of Arum's greed and his hatred of Mayweather. That $40 million that Mayweather offered Pac is $25 million more than he has earned against anyone else he has ever fought. He will realize what a fool he was for walking away from the fight for the second time after Tim Bradley taxes his a.s.s on June 9. After that, Pac will not only lose out on the $40 million guarantee, he will be lucky to get the $6 million Arum has been throwing his way for his last five fights when he faces Marquez for a fourth time or Brandon Rios in what will likely be his last fight.
All you need to know is this..

Spin it all you want.. But facts are facts buddy..

Yup and the question of who really is ducking.. the uneven split Floyd wants is the deal breaker. Clear as day.

Floyd clearly ducking pac over a 50/50 split is definitely a deal breaker. It is a deal breaker when we know pac is a the global icon.

PAc is ranked 28 in the top athletes of 2012 in the usa while floyd only ranked 48 lol

He recently teamed up with Michael Jordan the great one shows who really commands the Benjamins. He even deserves more than 50/50, but agreed to it just to make it happen. The question is why does Floyd prices himself up? Pac having to be endorsed by Nike and being tied up with the Great

they are salable athletes and are likable. They are loved and watched.. That's were you know they sell! That's the common sign of being a famous salable athlete. You have to be attached to brands.

Pac is doing great coz he is recognized, while FLoyd coz he ain't much of a role model is stinking with no endorsement deal as of late.

Top athletes makes more money doing commercials and brand tie-ups with top brands. Just shows who is the man.

PAc even has more endorsement in the usa than Floyd.

Even Dana white the one the made ufc bigger than boxing knows It should be 50/50.

      • damn straight floyd, number 1 fighter in the world by a loooooooooooong shot.
im in no doubt that the ppv buys and time in which seats are sold will tell the difference here between the pac/buttley fight and cotto/fmj.
genuine boxing fans with good knolledge of the game as a whole will statistically say floyd is the better bet, the better viewing, the better opposition and the best fighter in the game barr none.
dont get me wrong, pacman is elite no doubt about it but, BUT, floyd mayweather reigns supreme.

And as far as the Ortiz fight, OSDT was only the concern, Floyd said if Manny will submit to FULL OSDT, then we have a fight... So WTF now???!!! If i am Floyd and i am so sure that i'll KTFO this overhyped midget, i will take up on his challenged of 55-45 purse split with the winner taking the lion's share, with that in the system, i will surely be taking home more than he is....

That dishonest hype-job had his chance back in 09, and he blew it.

Punkiao's 8 ridiculous excuses cost him dearly, and so they should have.

The clown is over-rated, and he aint worth 50/50, not after losing to Marquez.

And..... who wants to see that fight anyways, it will just be a mismatch.

I have come to realise that fight will never happen.

Since Team Punkiao realised that Mayweather would never concede on full testing, they have avoided Mayweather like the plague.

Now Pussiao is talking about god ?

B1tchiao is already making his excuses to duck Mayweather, it wont happen.

Punkiao dont want none of Mayweather, and I dont want to see a mismatch.

                Bye all, take care.
If it's so big of a mismatch, why didn't Floyd just say yes to the 55-45 split with winner taking the bigger pot, then show us all how great he is...

                • This is unreal.

If any of you say ANYTHING other than:

"Holy balls, Floyd just took a giant deuce on his fans and legacy."

You are a special olympics candidate.

Floyds rabid fanbase have made some serious arguments in the past, given what they had to work with. But this is such an obvious duck that even the casual fan is catching on.

Dont get me wrong, I think Floyd would win this fight. But I think it's clear now that FLOYD doesnt think he would win this fight.

What a lying sack of feces. "Take the test and the fight is on" huh?

Fighting Pac's leftover KO victims, while Pac fights an undefeated technically superior fighter? THEN have the nuts to make demands and lie straight to the faces of your supporters? STOP DUCKING. MAN UP. The guy straight up met your demands Floyd. Do the right thing, the thing you SAID you would do. The world is waiting, and your fans deserve it.

This isnt a duck, its simply business..... Pacquiao will end up fighting him because hes bad with money.....

this comment have the most thumbs up in the article that is on the front page of the world wide leader in sports:

First it was the drug testing protocol Floyd demanded that scuttled the fight. When Pacquiao agreed to that he decided he needed more than half the pie. If one excuse disappears he creates a new one to avoid Pacquiao. What's next? He'd come up with more if the percentages were worked out.

The majority of fans world wide are behind pac. There's a reason why floyd has the universal reputation of being a cherry picking ducker afraid to lose his undefeated record.
