    dont know nothing about boxing

mjkirby, linares went against his corner to open up and fight toe to toe because he felt with the cut they would be stopping the fight. Dont put that on freddy. That was linares decision. Freddy know alot more than you do about boxing.

chavmex, how can you say they are afraid of marquez when they fought him three times. Does you logic make sense? You cannot keep boing the same guys over and over unless you have three or four bouts a year. There are so many bouts out there.

didnt groach after the in the 10rnd say they needed a knockout to win???? this garbage about manny rallying in the champ. rounds is just garbage , in fact manny did even less than JMm in the last 3 rounds and missed even more punches than he had previousley just utterly ridiculous excuses, these guys are the worst sore losers ever.there was no way in hell they were gonna give JMm a win unless he scored a ko no way nohow that much is clear, those judges were totally bought, the scores alone prove that.Pac didnt win that fight by any parameter, except maybe at taking monstrous shots.

Roach said it more appropriately, no matter how many times they fight Marquez will always lose. I wasn't sure if this was fact or not until this trilogy. Despite all the hype I actually thought he had a good chance to pull off the upset but he failed and now he's forced to fight a no-name whom he will stomp thoroughly. Pacman is the best!!!
uhhh no pacman is definitley not the best if you think that after his last 3 fights you truly arent a fan of the sport.and mexicans DONt acknowledge pacman won that fight because he didnt , we acknowledge it as a win ONLY ON PAPER.In fact the majority of the world doesnt beleive pacman won that fight, his rep isnt damaged for nothing buddy. Pacman won for political reasons to salvage a mayweather fight which will never happen and if it does pac will get ktfo , JMM was a clear winner of that fight, its wasnt really very close all pac did was get shown to look like an amateur miss and pay.

I was thinking about that, and it wasn't long ago that Linares was clearly winning a fight, Roach told him to out there and be more aggressive in the final rounds, and then he ended up getting stopped.

That being said, I haven't watched the fight since it happened but I don't really recall JMM not trying to win the last 4 rounds.

so in other words pacyow is admitting he lost by saying "I DONT WANT TO LOSE THE FANS" WHY WOULD YOU LOSE THE FANS MANNY? THE ONLY WAY YOU LOSE FANS MANNY IS WHEN THEY KNOW OR FEEL YOU LOST THE FIGHT!

Marquez it's 1000 times more entrataining than Pernell Withaker and we all know what he did to Chavez!

Manny and Roach if you do not want to fight marquez we understand and for all of us MEXICANS it's a moral victory and it shows who's the best!!!!
How can you be afraid of a guy you fought three times with similar outcomes?

I half agree with what you said. With Linares-DeMarco, it's all in hindsight. Only after the fight, we heard the judges' scores. But during the fight, I don't agree with advising Linares to coast because that fight looked very close. The judges could've been scoring rounds for DeMarco based on the amount of blood Linares was gushing out. There's no open scoring in Vegas. So there was no way of knowing that Linares was far ahead.

Freddie's weakness is coaching defense. His fighters do the same two things...triangle guard and turning their opponent. He's a great offensive trainer. Freddie's gameplans only work for high stamina fighters like to throw in volume.

I think what he means in pacs own words and his trainers own words "they underestimated JMM" they expected to ko an old little liteweight, when that certainley didnt happen and people feel Pac actually lost, they arent gonna make JMm any sort of priority. this is despite Pac making more money than hes ever made before breaking his own PPv record selling more ppvs than hes ever sold.this is despite people even in his own country saying Pac lost and the mosst respected voices in the sport saying the same, this despite JMM providing the most exciting fight pac has ever taken part of in his entire career!!lets not forget Pac priced himself out of a 4th matchup by demanding $10 million more.

If your a prizefighter whom fights for the prize (money) why wouldnt you want JMm again??? if he feels he "really " won???? truth is pac knows he lost he knows this dude is bad for him and his standing he knows he will never beat this guy convincigly,he knows better than anyone he lost this last fight , so in lieu of this he wants to make his fans "happy" by going back to fighting or beating down no-hoper, old washed up, has- been bums, Him trying to rematch Cotto in what wouldve been the most UNWANTED UNWARRANTEd re-match in boxing history proves this.Pac has said himself hes an entertainer more than a prizefighter, beating hopeless bums is what his fanbase want they dont want to see him in a REAL fight like real normal boxingfans want.JMM in all actauality gives the most moneysworth out of anybody pac has ever fought or will ever fight, I expect if he ever fights floyd jr it will be a lopsided loss for Manny , its very hard to see it otherwise after the JMM fight.

Seriously, who gave that boy a chance? Old Mosley? Really? I like both fighters just calling it like I see it, both aren't sealed among the greatest b/c of their blatant cherry-picking.
You don't remember what I told you last time you jumped in the middle of a conversation?

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth a remove all doubt."

                      KNOW YOUR BOXING.

Floyd has fought the #1 and #2 in EVERY division he's ever fought in except 140lbs ... and that was because Kostya Tszyu demanded a 60/40 split.

That alone puts Floyd's and Pacquiao's careers light years apart.

You can't compare Floyd's career to Pacquaio's for various reasons.

Floyd has always fought the best .. the best being the #1, #2 & #3 ranked fighters in any given division he's competed in.

Pacquiao padded his record with bums in southeast Asia for his first 40 fights .. while Floyd fought a HOF in just his 18th fight.

Floyd allows his opponents to come in at the division limit .. while Pacquiao stipulates "catchweights".

Floyd's biggest wins at WW came over men who were on top and winning ... while Pacquiao's best wins since JMM in 2008 all came over men who had been recently defeated and dethroned.

Floyd targets championships while Pacquiao has often sought vacant titles so to sidestep matches against champions.

But more importantly, you cannot name anyone that Floyd didn't fight aside from Bob Arum's fighters Cotto and Margarito. You do remember that Floyd gave Cotto the opportunity to fight at 140lbs, don't you?

Name a fighter that Floyd didn't fight. I dare you.
