broner looked very good last night but wait a few years and a few more divisions at least before you compare him to floyd.

in douche bag antics outside the ring maybe...he's getting started pretty early...so yeah by the time he is 35 i can definately see him surpassing floyd in out of the ring antics...as far as in the ring...c'mon, son...

Yeah he did at 130 you fool, floyd walked through his first 20-25 fights easier than almost anyone you can get footage of!

nowhere near floyd in terms of anything---watch any broner fight and compare it to floyd vs tony pep--and then try your arguments again--floyd landed 60% of his shots in his debut fight--at 19 years old, and ended it with a body shot(no young fighter was really doing this, let alone going to the body), perfect balance, fluidity, feinting, upperbody movement(mayweather jr vs justin jukko)--he was way ahead of the game at a young age--floyd is that once in a lifetime type of fighter--broner isn't bad by any means---but, don't compare him to floyd---he's only trying to imitate floyd--so what does that say about floyd---he's that damn good----no comparison--

i guess that puts me in the minority category huh?lol

i have them all--and you're fight---he ud his 2nd fight though--reggie sanders--floyd's first southpaw---but he went 10 for 12 in terms of ko's and tko's----imo, he was ready for hernandez after 10 fights(his conditioning was always there, trust me, he was always a 10 to 12 round fighter)--but my dad told me i was crazy---floyd could have became champion at 20 years old if you ask me though--and stayed champion, not like tyson, who lost his damn mind--lol

Typical fool that thinks Floyd fights like he did then as he does now. Not true at all. Perfect example of someone who has only seen Floyd in the last couple of years with the recent surge of ****** boxing fans from the Pac/Floyd debate.

Floyd was considered a power puncher when he started. Even more so than Broner is ATM. MOst people don't now this, but he was even said to have a leaky defence because he went all out trying to just KO the guy.

He fought better comp on his way up than Broner and by the time he left 130, as lineal champ, he had, from memory, about 21 knockouts of 26 fights. Now, this was against the likes of Diego Corrales, Augustus, Hernandez etc. Very, very good fighters and not easily knocked out.

Oh, and btw, within the same amount of fights and at the same age, more or less, he was the lineal champion, having beaten the best fighter at 130 for a long time, he had only one or two less KO's, despite fighting the much, much, much greater competition up to that point, so it just goes to show you how silly this thread is.

Ie. Floyd and Borner at the same age and same amount of fights were equal in record, both undefeated, both had mostly KO's, both considered good boxers with excellent power, but Floyd was the lineal, full champ that had beaten the best, and HOFer, and Broner has beaten Ponce DeLeon....maybe.

that's right benny---he was considered a power puncher---al bernstein always said floyd can knock you out with either hand, which he did----his first fight ended with a left hook to the body---he knocked down copper with a jab to the solarplex---jerry "mankind" cooper-lol---remember, this was 96, so he was a huge fan of the wrestler mankind--who was still new in the wwf at the time(irrelevant piece of information i know-forgive me-lol)--but floyd had his most ko's at 130 lbs----still displayed power at 135, and imo was at his strongest at 140 lbs but just fought bigger guys---could have stopped corley, stopped brusselles and gatti of course--and would have stopped kosta, hatton and cotto at those weights--dont' get me started on vivian harris's bum ass-lol

no wonder shane and oscar ignored his ass through the years--well, shane priced himself out of course-lol---
