IMO he already surpassed Floyd... in legacy and skills.

he fought a no talent midget who got knocked out by simple straight when he wasnt even covering his face. lets see broner fight somebody his size and skill level. mayweather at 22 would have picked his ass apart. broner is a poor mans mayweather at this point. hes trying to be mayweather, uses the same style, moves the same way, everything he tries to copyLast edited by Bullrush; 02-26-2012, 06:07 AM.Comment

No.
He's just about stole as much of Mayweather's style as he can and he's doing good with it, but he's not better than Floyd in any aspect of the game. People have either forgot just how good Floyd was down at the lighter weights or they're looking to make another guy into something he's not.
Good fighter, but there's a few levels between good and Mayweather.Comment

Did you think Caballero was a bum? If I recall he was ranked in the top 10 p4p before he got lit up by Litzau. Broner absolutely vaporized Litzau. Broner hasn't faced anyone elite yet but that's not his fault, he is willing to fight everyone. At 22 he looks as good as they come. Its been quite a few years since we seen a kid this good. Remember he's only 22. He won't be in his prime till 2015 or so. Kid is gonna be a force for another 10-15 years.Comment

The usual post day hypedrive.Broner is very talented but his comp outside off Ponce is little to none.If he keeps working hard and winning then offcourse he has a chance at being great but thats a while off yet.I would like to see him fight Argenis Mendez nextComment

His style is obviously very similar, but he fights like Floyd as if Floyd was at 150+.
A Floyd at 130 would be too quick on his feet, too quick minded and would beat Broner to the punch every time. He would just break him down like he does everyone else.Comment
