Alexander's chin is pretty good guys, he's been hit pretty hard by Urango and Matthysse and didn't get knocked out. Urango might have been limited, but if he was good at anything was that power of his, if he caught you flush you could say bye bye. He caught Alexander flush but he took it well. Matthysse knocked him down and visibly hurt him, but Devon fought back and avoided the KO. Maidana is gonna have to focus on winning the rounds, not getting the KO. Maidana has to get a couple of knockdowns, and avoid close rounds. If a round is close, he has to step on the gas and try to impress more in that round.

Basically, Maidana will sadly have to do more than just win rounds in order to win the fight. I hate talking like that, but it is what Maidana has to do.
Agreed totally i dont know if Maidana can get him out of there.Hopefully hes in good shape and at some stage he might be able to overwhelm Devon

would love to see it but, alexander's style is fighting backwards...although i don't think his footwork is good enough to keep maidana off of him, he did stop urango who was a strong come forward fighter...i fux with chino and want nothing more than to see him stop alexander in brutal fashion tonight...

Devon is a live dog in this fight. He does have some power,he can get maidana out of there in the early rounds, but anything over 7 rounds i favor maidana winning.

If Alexander can just sit on some of his punches..it should be good he can probably hurt Maidana, If he just keeps baking up and just throwing punches with nothing on them for the whole fight he can win if he doesnt tire, if he slows down Maidana might catch him late and hurt him.

Nah Devon is tough ad will "outwork" Maidana with his pitty patty punches while 89% of his punches hit either glove or air

Devon is very capable of winning even without special help from the judges. He has the style. Hopefully it's just a good fight where the winner is clear, and if it goes all 10, the right man gets picked.
