Pacman is finally taking a bigger risk than Floyd. That says a lot considering Pacman hasn't taken a risk since Clottey.

I think fighting Bradley is better at this point.

Not by that much though to be honest.

Cotto can not beat Floyd. Bradley will beat Pacquiao.

Bradley's headbutt alone is a bigger risk to Pac than Cotto is to Floyd. Pac is not going to look good against Bradley, it's going to be an rough and ugly fight.

Also note that Roach and Bob Arum wouldn't have allowed Pac to fight Bradley if they didn't think he could win. We know if a fighter is "too good" the fight won't get made.

This would be a more justifiable thread if Mayweather was fighting Alvarez.
more boxing fans think cotto can beat mayweather than pac can?!? i think you got your numbers wrong bro and check it again

I dont get your point on Alvarez???

anyway the poll results answer how posters here answer the TS but IMHO although Pac is taking more risk than floyd it does not mean in anyway cotto is not a risk for floyd and the fight between them promises something better than Mayweather's last 3 fights ...

I disagree with him though, at this point of their careers, Bradley is the tougher fighter to beat/look good against, and the fighter that is most likely to give you an L. While it doesn't even take a special fighter to beat Cotto, as we saw Antonio Margarito beating him who at his best was just an okay fighter.I say Pacquiao is taking more risk.
I think you should reassess your response since its likely that Margarito utilized his infamous loaded wraps against Cotto.

Additionally, if it was so easy to beat Miguel I dont think that he would be where is he now.

Pacquiao's stock could drop a little after this Bradley fight. After having a lackluster performance against Shane Mosley and having a tough fight where he didn't look good against Juan Manuel Marquez he needs to look good in this one. Although no matter what Bradley does all Pacquiao has to do is stay on his feet for 12 rounds and he wins the fight. I still think Pacquiao needs to look good in this to still keep the Mayweather fight in demand. Mayweather needs to look great against Cotto too since Pacquiao already beat him but I think Manny needs to look a bit better since he has had 2 not so entertaining fights leading up to this. Actually Mayweather can look halfway decent and that could possibly build interest too. Pacquiao has more of a risk.

Cotto is the bigger threat here. People brush Cotto of because of his 145 weight fight with Manny and his loaded glove beat down from the cheater but Miguel is still a great boxer with power. I hope Floyd thinks like alota people here and takes this fight lightly.
What kind of threat does Bradley present Manny with? Manny doesnt have to worry about Bradleys power therefore he can take many risks with huge reward. Bradleys only shot here is to outbox Manny which I do think he can do but it will be tough.
Based on experience, talent and punching power, Cotto is the tougher matchup here.
