Plus Golden Boy has connections with HBO and other media outlets, it gives him access to fight GBP fighters, and it allows GBP to showcase their younger fighters on his undercard...win/win for both. Plus he doesn't have the number of employees GBP has, which assist in all the marketing crap, etc, which Mayweather pays them for, but at a discounted rate, compared to running a full scale one on his own...sure there are other benefits but this is just my guess.
