That 10 million was meaningless because he had no intention of making that fight because next thing he pulls out was the OSDT right out of the blue. Never been done before by any fighter. I'm sure he knew what kind of normal reaction he would get from Pacquiao. Which would be "who the hell are you to be demanding that?".

And of course he was right and there was no fight.

Ummmm..... Every fighter other than Pacquiao and their momma's said that they would take the tests. Mosley (a known cheat), Ortiz and now Cotto is taking the random blood tests to fight Mayweather. Pac is supposed to be the P4P best and he made such an issue about it and even sued? You Pac supporters are the most gullible people on the planet. Now you are coming with this lame excuse that he knew Pac would refuse because he doesn't bend to Mayweather? Doesn't that mean he didn't want the fight that bad? What about 10MIL penalty over 147? That don't sound like something a fighter would agree to. Floyd did though. You guys are idiots. The plain facts are that $40m flat fee is an derisory offer for this fight, floyd knows it, pacquiao knows it, anyone with half a brain knows it.

So ask yourself, "why would floyd offer it?"

to kill the fight.

And why does he want to do this?

Because he doesn't want to fight pacquiao.

This can be further seen by mayweather continuing to move goalposts throughout the two and half years of negotiations.

and how blind are you floyd fans when floyd stated that 14 days are ok then changes to 0 days when manny finally agreed to 14 days..how about the "50/50 is ok then' and now that "just take the test and we have a fight challenged" agreed by manny the 50/50 split is not acceptable anymore and last but not the least " yes manny your next then after the ortiz fight "i never said that"...now, who's blind on both eyes?

Jack2x or JackAzz it's called negotiations if you're interested. Being a boxer of elite quality you have to negotiate. Also called bargaining power. Manny says one or many things then change his mind about certain stipulations; so you have to change youre tune as well. Boxing as been that for a very long time. I will give you some examples: 50/50 was ok until Manny's stock took a nosedive after the Marquez fight!!

Another one for you: Manny (I will fight Mayweather for less) Mayweather countered that comment by pulling his bluff. Bargaining power is a form of control.
