A KO is all Maidana wil be looking for anyhow... Alexanders heart was tested by Bradley and it didnt look good. Weve all seen what happens when
maidana tests boxers hearts. It should be a good fight.

Maidana knew that he was going to need a KO to win, there was no way that he was going to get a decision in Saint Louis.

Other than the KO, he could win if he's able to knock down Alexander in every single round of the fight, and then he could win via SD.

In alexander's defense he did get up off the canvas and beat Matthysse. Granted I had Matthysse winning but still showed some heart imo.

i'm shocked that bradley got the decision over alexander. alexander probably quit because he thought king paid off the judges but oops he forgot!

Maidana needs to stop Devon to win imo.

I actually think Devon will put on a decent performance and come out a clear winner.

In both Alexander fights people call robberies, they were actually close fights with arguments that could be made for either fighter winning. That doesn't mean they were a robbery. A robbery was last what happened in the Cloud fight on Saturday, there is no argument to be made for him winning that fight, none. Never the less, I am beating a dead horse because most of the posters on here can't see things objectively and hate Alexander for some reason.

As for the Maidana fight, I think it's gonna be a good scrap that will probalby produce a KO (from either fighter), I think Devon will get a lot of respect back win or lose.

I am willing to put all of my points on Devon winning this fight so if I have any takers just let me know.
I think you need to realise that a close fight can be considered a "robbery" when the cards are already stacked in one fighter's favour regardless of how close the fight is.

Example: Paul Williams v Sergio Martinez 1

The fight was close and it could have gone either way - I have no problem with that.

What I do have a problem with is judge Pierre Benoist scoring it 119-110 in favour of Williams.

That there is the "robbery" - taking away the level playing field regardless of what happened in the fight.

The same can be applied to Devon Alexander.

Who cares if the fights were close, the results would have been the same.

I agree with the 119-110 score being a robbery in a close fight. However, the cards were much closer in both of Devon's controversial fights. Hence while I think they were fair judging.

Hell, I had Alexander losing to Mattysee, but I can see why the judges scored it the way they did so I have no problem with it. I think no matter how I personally scored a fight, as long as I can see how a fight could have gone the other way I don't have a problem with it.
