Exactly. I really like both fighters and I don't want to see Gamboa lose cause he took a risk and fought a guy 20 pounds heavier than him that just smothered him, I'd hate to see him lose like that.

I also don't wanna see Rios lose cause he's drained.

I hate being such a downer on what is a good fight and I commend Top Rank for taking a risk and trying to do something big like this....I just feel like it was really forced.

I think it's gonna be an entertaining night, I don't see any of them being 'dominated' I think it'll be tit for tat in rounds, with Rios ultimately breaking Gamboa down. It'll be fun to watch because it's such a high risk fight with two young game fighters in their prime going toe-to-toe... well, hopefully anyway.

Okay so there is an obvious gap in skill level, Gamboa is super fast and technical but Rios is ultra strong and has a good chin, heart, and an overwhelming body and head attack. Whoever wins this fight imo deserves a spot on the P4P list. an intriguing fight to say the least

You really think that if these two guys slug it out Gamboa will be standing? Come on now.

Gamboa wins if he puts on an exhibition and hardly gets hit. If he goes toe to toe with Rios and starts taking shots he's gonna get stopped.

I agree it will be fun. And it's really interesting, but unless Gamboa has a deathwish, I don't see it being a FOTY candidate.

To me its a perfect FOTY candidate because it will be a tale of two halves. Gamboa will pot shot for the first half and then Rios will force him to sit and fight a bit in the second half. I hear a lot of folks saying Gamboa will destroy him but they are missing one key factor. We've seen what Rios can do under real pressure but we have yet to see what Gamboa can do with adversity. Sure he's been knocked down a couple times but not really hurt. Its a toss up. The first one to hurt the other wins by KO. Gamboa is a finisher and wont ride out 12. Rios...........Well he is who he is.KO or nothing. Cant wait.
