yup. and also right when you first start taking roids you see gains quickly. so say your benching 150 pounds 3 days a week, taking dianabol or something and you notice the "bellies" of the muscles in your chest are clearly larger. This might give you a false confidence and make you think you could add more weight without risking injury, really underneath that bulging muscle your tendons/ligaments are only adjusted to the 150 pounds you've been doing. With that said, with close attention you can use steroids and avoid injury. I've seen it done. You've got to make a plan and stick to it. I would say stay away from injections or prolonged, complex cycles unless you are both an experienced athlete/bodybuilder and being very careful. Any drug has potential for abuse but something like steroids, its pitfalls are unique. It is isn't like crack or heroin where you look like **** and your life gets ****ed, you can take steroids and walk around looking and feeling good. There are also drugs like clomid and nolvadex to minimize bad side-effects and help get your hormones back in balance after cycles.

on a side note, I don't see these kind of problems in boxing because of the nature of the training. it's more so in stuff like powerlifting. Boxers probably wouldn't be doing the dianabol/deca-durabolin mixed with test. its a little much. but other PEDs like EPO or the cream/clear thing are probably prevalent on the fringes of boxing. also, I'm not the most knowledgable guy about this, Its just my best friend is a big gym guy and we've done some anabolics before. he talks and talks about it and i just pick up some stuff here and there

      Just curious, that's all.
and hey, I'm a K Bros fan but you have the right to go after him because he has been linked to it before. Just like I got nothing against Mosley, but whats true is true and if not mistaken he did admit or imply that he used the cream/clear combo

Which is why youre asking NSB (Steroid Experts) instead of just googling it

I told him the same stuff he would read in any of those articles. I'm happy to talk about something that interests me with others that have similar interests. don't be cheeky, join the conversation, its a forum, a place where people go to bounce ideas off of one another

Its funny, but I just Googled "is being in your forties linked to ligament damage?". The closet thing that came up was ACL injuries are more likely in your late forties. I quit looking when I got to the second page and THIS thread was on there. So there really isn't any anecdotal evidence to your claim either.

I got the idea from the talk that was going on in NSB, so I went ahead and asked on NSB. Sorry if it offends you.

I'm glad I did too...MonsieurGeorges had some good info. And you gotta love that he has Benny Leonard in his sig. You aren't going to find that on Steroids.com or wherever.

Regular people(non-pro athletes) get torn ACLs, MCLs pulled hamstrings, torn rotator cuff doing regular activities and/or doing sports.

On a sidenote, Andre Berto, who is working with Victor Conte, had a torn bicep injury.
