This fight could hit the 1.7 mark. It wont go over 1.8m, that's for sure. I don't even see a Floyd/Manny fight going over 2m.

It's not about just The numbers Canelo and Mosley would do on there own it's the fact that there on the card, plus it's Cinco De Mayo, and another big name in Cotto.

Mayweather doesn't do big numbers by himself, he needs another big name and all those factors together help the sales.

I'll watch but will not buy, like much of the people I work with. I have quite a few big boxing fans that I work with that will not buy this fight due to the fact Cotto is past his best! This fight is not worth $60.

I don't really think it has that kind of broad appeal to do that well, it will do great certainly but that great it really asking a lot, 1.5+ but getting even close to 2 would be astoundingly good.

People are making wierd comparison though to that fight comparing Floyd to Floyd directly, when Cotto really would be playing Floyd's role from the Oscar fight. The question is Floyd bigger than Oscar, when that fight took place and is Cotto bigger than Floyd when that took place, I would figure most would say no to the first question and yes but fairly close on the second part.

The Oscar from the Floyd fight was not peak drawing Oscar, his performance in the build-up is not what I would call enthralling in any way, he already alienated a ton of people with the Tito fight bullshit and was inactive although he was coming off an impressive looking win. Floyd could be equal to Oscar at that point in terms of selling appeal but that is the kind of thing that needs proven out.

Who the hell buys a pay per view.

Really, how many of you here, buys the ppv's.?

Floyd/Oscar will never be beat, you almost have to have a computer and internet service to even be a boxing fan anymore, and if you have those you have access to the fights.

No fight will outdo DLH vs Floyd, not even Floyd/Manny at this point. I think eventually some matchup will come along and surpass those numbers. When Bob Arum and Don King are out of the way and top guys start fighting one another that will help too.

I don't think it will out sell it's just a conversation me and one of my Puerto Rican friend had. So about dumb threads I just wanted to know how many people would say it would out sell Mayweather vs DLH. And one more thing you don't have to view my thread or vote on my s**t. I guess I have to checkmate the lame so please hater stay in your lane.

This might beat Shane/Floyd but it won't touch Mayweather/DLH. BTW, people need to stop with the undercard ****. Undercards do very little for ppvs. You think anyone gives a **** about Mosley, they never did. You think casual fans buying PPV even know Alvarez?
