The May v Cotto fight was VERY interesting in 2007, like the May v Pac fight in 2010 but now Cotto is past his peak, Mayweather is slower but good enough to beat Cotto convincingly. Could have done around 1.6-8 around 2007 but now i'd be happy if it beat 1.5mill. At this point only fight that can touch the 2mill mark would be May v Pac but even that now in 2012 or by the time the fight takes place will not beat May v DLH, in 2010 it would have but not now.

It does 1.5-1.8 because of it's date and people really do put names they can recognize in a higher echelon when it comes to fights. It will sell very well, but it won't come close to the highest grossing fight ever.Comment

It will do around 1.1 or 1.2 million. I think there's too much public backlash against both Floyd and Pac for either of there PPV's to do any better. And hell even that amount is a extremely succesful PPV.Comment

I doubt that May/Cotto outsells DLH - MAy because Cotto is not a bigger name than Oscar and doesnt have the sar power that he has. Definatly lacks the following of people in comparison to Oscar.Comment

i doubt it will, but its gonna do great numbers mayweather did 1.25 with a barely known ortiz, cotto has a strong following and coming off a very solid margarito fight, also you have mosely and canelo who have extremely loyal fans. i also believe winky wright is fighting, he did some solid numbers in his day. the card will bring the numbers up, and also the price of the ppv lol 75bucks for hdComment

Pacquiao's highest PPV record is like 1.9, because of DLH. Floyd's highest record PPV record is 2.5 because of DLH.
I say Mayweather-Cotto does like 1.5M PPV buys, and that's because the Mexican ginger is in the card.Comment
